What console(s) do u have?

King of Memes

Ive owned basically every North American console but currently actually have exactly zero lol. I have been selling them off over the past couple years, although I ordered a Series X today simply because I got it on that payment plan deal they have and I needed a new 4k player anyways so I killed 2 birds with one stone

NES

1st gen Wii
DSi - matte black
3DS XL
PS2 slim (7X series)
Fat PS2 - HDD attachment for ripped games
PS3 slim
PS3 slim (this one doesn't have a working disc drive)
PS4 Pro
PS5
At one point I had an OG Xbox (with duke controller!), but the disc drive was bad so I returned it to the Goodwill I grabbed it from. I really should have considered keeping it and just replacing the drive myself.

Siblings/family have
Switch Lite
OG PS4

NES mini
PS1 mini

Sega Saturn
Sega Dreamcast
Nintendo Switch
XBSX

I used to own a PS1, PS2, PS3, XB 360, XB1... but those were all passed along to friends or family after I was 'finished' with them.

The only reason I keep the old Sega consoles is because I still actively use them. The Saturn will always be my favorite since it had some of my favorite games;
Grandia & Digital Meuseum
Dragon Force I & II
Magic Knight Rayearth
Radiant Silvergun
Sakura Taisen
Albert Odyssey
Princess Crown

The list goes on. The Sega Saturn had such a killer library.

SNES (OG - Got for Christmas when I was a kid)

N64 (Original Gray Console with RAM expander)

Wii (Waited in line for 11 hours!!)

Wii U (No wait for this one oddly enough)

PS3 Super Slim 500GB (it's ugly but it works)

PS4 (original model)

Nintendo Switch Mario Odyssey Edition (Wish they did more than just Red Joycons)

DS Lite Legend of Zelda Limited Edition (Mostly just used for GBA anymore)

DSi XL (Best way to play DS games IMO)

New 3DS Legend of Zelda Limited Edition

PS Vita 3G First Edition Bundle (Bought like new in box last year)

Thinking about getting a PSP

I had a PS2 but the magic smoke escaped.

Never owned an Xbox.  Always had a gaming PC so didn't see much point, especially now that HALO is on PC there's even less of a reason for one.

I will probably get a PS5 eventually??  We'll see what exclusive games show up on the system.

As of right now:
PS1 SCPH-1001 (don't actually use it though)
PS2 SCPH-70001 w/ FMCB and OPL set up to play games via SMB share (technically stolen from our living room but nobody else uses it so it's fine)
PS4 Pro 7015B 1TB
OG Xbox 1.4 w/ softmod and 500GB HDD

Xbox 360 Elite 120GB Falcon w/ dead laser

Xbox One X something or other revision 1TB

But the plans for console hoarding are real.

Spoiler

In addition to the ones in the screenshot below, I do plan on getting a PS5 digital and a Series X, and when I get the Series X my XB1X will basically become the dedicated 360 back compat fella. When the PS4 gets replaced it'll just be a pretty ornament more than likely.

Does the Megadrive Mini feel like playing the real thing? I could kick myself for not buying one of those when I used to see them for $40.

I can't really compare how it feels versus the real thing since it's been ages that I've played on a real Megadrive but I haven't had any problems playing on the Mini, controls feel perfectly fine though I've mostly just played Tetris on it 🙂

I owned basically everything except a Dreamcast and original Xbox. But I have none at the moment.

I don't know if I really want to acquire everything again vs. setting up a proper emulation system. Just need to find the right mix of hardware to do each system I want. Part of me wants all the consoles I used to have, but I love the practicality of a single, clean emulation system for everything.

Consoles:

NES (Front Loader, replaced cartridge connector, had this one my whole life)
NES (Front Loader, slightly newer, one I actually use, games work better)
SNES (Original Version)
Nintendo 64 (Black with Expansion Pak)
Nintendo GameCube (Later Model, Black)
Nintendo Wii (White, only gets used to rip GC and Wii images)
Nintendo Wii U Deluxe
Nintendo Switch (Green/Pink Splatoon 2 Bundle)
NES Classic Edition
SNES Classic Edition
Sega Genesis Mini
SNK Neo Geo Mini (Standard International Version)
SNK Neo Geo Mini (Crystal Samurai Shodown Version)
TurboGrafx 16 Mini
Microsoft XBOX 360 S (250GB, Black)
Sony PlayStation (Original, Gray)
Sony PlayStation 2 (Early Slim, Black, Main)
Sony PlayStation 2 (Early Slim, Black, Extra)
Sony PlayStation 3 (Late 160GB Slim, Black, Upgraded to 500GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD, Main for PS3 games on HDTV)
Sony PlayStation 3 (Early 160GB Slim, Black, Upgraded to 250GB T-Force Vulcan SSD, Secondary for PS1 and PS2 Classics on CRT TV)
Sony PlayStation 4 (500GB, Glacier White Destiny: The Taken King Limited Edition, Upgraded to 500GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD, Bed TV )
Sony PlayStation 4 Pro (1TB, Jet Black, Upgraded to 1TB Crucial MX500 SSD, Desk/PSVR)
Sony PlayStation 4 Pro (1TB, Black/White Death Stranding Limited Edition, Upgraded to 1TB Crucial MX500 SSD, Main)
Sony PlayStation TV
Sony PlayStation Classic

Handhelds:

Nintendo GameBoy (Original, Gray, Failing screen but still technically playable)
Nintendo GameBoy Advance SP (Silver)
Nintendo New 3DS XL (Super NES Edition)
Nintendo New 3DS XL (Black, Damaged Top Screen but still playable)

Nintendo Game & Watch Super Mario Bros.
Sega Game Gear (Bad caps, no image/weak sound)
Sony PSP-3000 (Black)
Sony PlayStation Vita 2000 (Black)

The only systems that aren't hooked up and ready to play are my older NES, the Wii, either NeoGeo Mini (though they have built in screens), the TurboGrafx 16 Mini, the original PlayStation (PS2 or PS3 can handle PS/X games), the extra PS2, the Jet Black PS4 Pro as well as the PSVR (not enough room ATM), and the PlayStation Classic (need I explain?). I plan on pulling the XBOX 360 out sometime soon since I have almost no reason to keep it hooked up. A PS4 re-release (as well as for XBOX One and PC) of Tales of Vesperia pretty much invalidated the 360. I may shove the TurboGrafx 16 Mini in there.

Everything else is hooked up. I have two stations: one with a 43" 1080p LG LCD TV and one with a 27" Sanyo CRT. The HD station has a receiver with an integrated 4 port HDMI switch connected to one of the TV's HDMI ports and 5-port stand-alone HDMI switch connected to the other port. The SD station has two 4-port Radio Shack S-Video/Composite switches, one connected to each S-Video input on the TV. Everything that can use it is hooked up with S-Video. The NES is the only thing hooked up with composite.
