White screen after hitting update and shut down, then my secondary drive vanished

So this just happened, I hit the update and shutdown button (I was forced) and then for about 30 seconds I had a completely blank white screen until it eventually started shutting down.

I decided it was weird so I rebooted to check if there would be any problems. it took an obnoxiously long amount of time to even get a spinning circle on the mobo screen, after finally getting in it seems to run fine but my :D drive is missing, I checked bios and it is also not listed there anywhere.

Is my drive dead or did the update somehow fuck it up? Thanks for any help

Do you mean a firmware update for the ssd? It does sound like it went bad.

Have you tried to test it in another pc?

Do you still have warranty for it?

not a firmware update, windows 11 software update.

I haven’t attempted anything really yet it was late last night and I had to get to bed and have been at work all day.

I’ll have to check about that warranty
