  1. Kind of like how everyone and their brother keeps calling 1440p "2k" even though it is 100% MOST DEFINITELY NOT 2K BY DEFINITION.
  2. It's the vertical that makes me feel like I'm looking through a prison window. LIke, i'm happy with the height of my 40". Sure, I'd be happy to go a few inches wider, but not at the expense of height. I'd do a 21:9, 5k monitor, but only if it were 50"--meaning virtually the same height as my 16:9.
  3. But not curved....sadly. 40" 4k is where it's at though, I fully agree.
  4. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/255181268062?hash=item3b69fd245e:g:wKYAAOSwqEdhao8w maybe ebay something? do the switch swap yourself, if you absolutely positively have to have ISO?
  5. P.S. 100% is already hen's teeth when it comes to "aftermarket" keyboard support. Trying to find 100% ANSI translucent case is impossible. And I can't imagine that UK ISO is going to be any better in 100%.
  6. https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=6203 This is what I just got. Wired. Silent Red (But you can pick others if you want). ANSI vs ISO comparisons. https://www.onecomputerguy.com/ansi-vs-iso Looks like many people just go with ANSI since those are FAR, FAR easier to find. And unless you are 100% stuck on ISO key layout/functions, I'd say that's a good call and go with ANSI.
  7. p.s. if you're using separate mic/headphones, you will probably need 2? one for the mic cables, one for the headphone cables?
  8. then i think something like this will work: https://www.amazon.com/Nobsound-Audio-Switcher-Selector-Splitter/dp/B07Q1W4484 Hook your mic/headphones to the output, and put your devices 1 on each input.
  9. For mechanical? https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/ Start here and browse prebuilts. The big questions you need to ask yourself are: -do i prefer tactile, linear or clicky switches? -what size keyboard layout do i want? (100, TKL, 60, etc) -what (if any) RGB do i want? what kinds of keycaps do i prefer? --- For membrane? I still have an Rii RK-900, and it's worked great for 2+ years. --- Wireless? Well there's options for both membrane and mechanical. I prefer wired peripherals due to the fact that
  10. I would NOT use any BT connections. 100% wired. BT is NOT going to switch fast enough.
  11. https://www.amazon.com/Gigastone-GS-4IN1600X32GB-R-Prime-microSD-Card/dp/B07BW16S72/ same price as the $16 gb one.
  12. I don't think so, but they sell different sizes of micro SD card, so just get the cheapest?
  13. I'm gonna disagree with that, because bass is something you FEEL. And you aren't getting that from earbud size drivers. Amazon reviews as a judge of audio equipment? Well that's just asking for trouble. I'm not sure what "audiophile" sites you are poo-pooing, but that hasn't been my case with them. Now if you are limiting yourself to JUST earbuds--and wireless ones at that--then yeah, maybe the market for quality starts at $200. But if you want good quality audio, there's plenty high-quality options <$100--if you can bring yourself to use a wire. Otherwise, yeah, quality w
