this is a older photo because I don't carry apple earbuds (they died a couple months ago) I carry sony mdr ex14

and my mp3 player is totally different

but I still carry a cold steel micro recon 1 (main knife) and a leatherman wingman (this is now mostly in my camel back for bike trips)

self defense,I don't carry a gun because I am too young but I won't

knifes are a great thing to carry around to cut packages and other everyday things.

multi tools are useful for so much because they are basically a tool box in your pocket.

 

I am surprise I haven't seen a glock 26 tho

Just curious, do you live in USA? And have you been attacked to a point that you needed a gun to defend yourself? There was a break in at my apartment, after that I got a gun for self defense,just keep it at home, had to use it for self defense one time but I never carry it with me.

Carrying a decent 3.5" knife daily is applicable to my job. Makes my daily tasks a lot easier than if I didn't carry one with me.

 

It does double for self defense purposes though. Now we have actual riots going around, looters, and white people getting attacked for being white...Imma carry a knife. If you still think carry a weapon is dumb well I guess where you live is just roses and daisies, and I envy you.

I was a build inspector. Specifically for abandoned buildings slated for demotion. I carried as part of my job, because you never know what you may encounter (wild animals, wild human, ran across a drug lab once...)

 

So you can absolutely believe mine was for self defense, and there are places in the US that are dangerous enough to warrant a CCW just because.

I like these threads.  I have personal and Castle carries.  Personal, and I don't put photos of my things online cause guberment, is a pistol (depending on the clothes type, creates a need for a different type of weapon).  Everything else is in the bookbag on my back or next to my person (phone, keys, wallet etc)

 

My car...Louisville slugger and 14" boker blade, .22 semi auto in a concealed holster under the steering wheel.  And whatever pistol I have on me at the time.

 

 

As for those who think fortune is going to find them at every rainbow - well I am a realist, and a paid self defense instructor - there is a very real reason I and others like me carry to defend themselves.  Go outside your front door, do a 360 degree spin.  See all those people?  They WOULD take from you if it wasn't illegal.  And the cops take 10 minutes to arrive so, I don't bank on meeting Kind People in my day to day business as the world shows me daily we are just vicious animals.
