Post your daily carry?

I like these threads.  I have personal and Castle carries.  Personal, and I don't put photos of my things online cause guberment, is a pistol (depending on the clothes type, creates a need for a different type of weapon).  Everything else is in the bookbag on my back or next to my person (phone, keys, wallet etc)

 

My car...Louisville slugger and 14" boker blade, .22 semi auto in a concealed holster under the steering wheel.  And whatever pistol I have on me at the time.

 

 

As for those who think fortune is going to find them at every rainbow - well I am a realist, and a paid self defense instructor - there is a very real reason I and others like me carry to defend themselves.  Go outside your front door, do a 360 degree spin.  See all those people?  They WOULD take from you if it wasn't illegal.  And the cops take 10 minutes to arrive so, I don't bank on meeting Kind People in my day to day business as the world shows me daily we are just vicious animals.

Heh, it was a coke lab int he basement of a series of row houses slated to be demo'd.

I'd venture there was several hundred pounds of processed coke, wrapped and ready to go. 

That was an exciting day I tell you.

One of the other things we used to do, was inspect public housing projects for stuff like asbestos. Which can come in a very fine off-white powder. I had a small bag of it one day from an inspection and a "local colourful native" offered me a real good time in exchange for the contents of the bag.

In my younger years I inspected gas line flyover clears (basically you send mower crews to ensure no rubbish is blocking the orange LP indicators for 15 feet on each side so the flyover can see the indicator) and found a dead body in a park in Kansas City MO - it was literally in the worst ghetto Ive had the experience to visit.  The amount of crazy Id see each day was insane.  That was just the highlight of that trip.

• Yes, I still use a digital watch. Has DST, other time zones, and standard timer/stopwatch features built-in, and that's all I need. I love it when a thing has all the functionality I want and none of the bloatware/other marketing fluff.

 

Everything's served me very well to this date. Around five years, I think? And I haven't had to repair or swap any of 'em out.

I would, but I'll be honest, it's kinda hard to take a picture of my phone when I don't have anything else to take pictures with.

I carry around a wallet, my phone and my keys for my Saturn whenever I go anywhere. I'll get a picture soon enough.

I just didn't understand where the disconnect was, I was making a joke about everyone staring as his gun but my eyes caught that he carries nail clippers every day.

I was an Engineer 12N10C4  (Construction Equipment Operator with Crane Qualifications) I operated small to very large equipment.

My MOS changed like a half dozen times over the 12 years I was in so it takes a moment to remember Lol.. My original MOS was a 62J

I think that paracord I have on my keychain is about 30ft long? I dont remember, I stopped tying the cobra knot when it seemed long enough. 550 cord is a god save at times.

I have jiu jitsu gis, training knives and batons, striking pads, hand wraps, boxing gloves, mouth pieces, jock straps, etc in my trunk.  Its explained as realistic gear in training   (though they are both situated by the emergency brake handle) I was told the same by the cops (I train law enforcement in combatives) but in reality I don't have to answer any question on the why in my State, as we are a Castle Law state and your car is considered your Castle when you are inside of it and both of those are lawful to own.

 

I also explain it as realistic items discussed during training

What car do you drive? Just so I never fuck with you.

 

 

I also live in Canada and all my guns are behind lock and key, and any handguns are under double lock and key, so I can't relate.
