COVID-19 - READ THE RULES BEFORE REPLYING

Modern (western) society hasn't really dealth with an event like this in a long time, so we are used to the viruses and vaccines for most things being known, under control and readily available.  What you and the entire world with you are seeing now is the reality of cutting edge science and how science deals with unknowns. We don't have the answers and our honest conclusions are that we don't know a lot of things. However, we will know with time and we're doing the best we can to make that time as short as possible.

and we needing all the data we can get from this experience with such a pandemic in a "modern world". even if they are counted as minor, it can accounted for standard practices we should need to follow or new ways that can help dealing with future pandemics. If it be the use of masks, how we deal with vaccines and what we allow and so on. To the many new experimental vaccines like plant based or other types vaccination or solutions. To hong kongs use of live tissue of "homebrewed" lungs and other methods.

According to the Supreme Court decision in 1905 its up to your governor. Until the Supreme Court changes that ruling legally state governors could impose punishments on people not getting vaccinated. So put that in to the bank. Feel fortunate that most of these people dont have the spine to do this.

You'll have to show me this one, I've never heard of that before.
And really doesn't matter, our governor has said there will never be a mandate.

To the man, God replied, “I sent you government officials, a Mayor, Doctors, Nurses, Health officials, radio and television personalities, friends on Facebook telling you to get vaccinated and to take precautions. What more did you expect, what else did you want?"

I'm gonna stop now since it gets political, but God does NOT say to get vaccinated. In fact, I believe the exact opposite!

God says "You shall not Murder.", and vaccinations contained murdered babies' fetal cells.

Fetuses aren't babies and vice versa, also, the HEK-293 cell line didn't came from murdering fetuses, it's ONE cell sample that was taken in the 70's and it's been grown in labs since then.

Also, if you're against the COVID vaccine because of the use of this cell line, then you should be against modern medicine ... here's a short list of medication that the HEK293 cell line and similar ones ;

Tylenol / Acetaminophen (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29273526/)
Advil / Motrin / Ibuprofen (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18161576/)
Aspirin / Acetylsalicylic Acid (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24495935/)

Pseudoephedrine / Sudafed / / SudoGest, Suphedrine (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30871515/)
Diphenhydramine / Benadryl (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18222495/)

Guaifenesin / Mucinex (https://scihubtw.tw/10.1111/cbdd.13409)

Docusate / Colace / Ex-Lax Stool Softener (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24410319/)

Good on you I guess ? Still doesn't change the fact that there are tens of thousands of medicine out there that used some sort of fetal sample or stem cells since the 70's, it's impossible to not have used any.

cells in a test tube aren't aborted babies, spike proteins are only a method used to train our immune system, not sure how that relates to fetal cells ?

Am Catholic and it's a story that's often told to kids to make them understand that God doesn't send literal angels when you need help, sometime, an extended hand is what God did to answer a prayer.

The drowning man story isn't a good analogy IMO, but it works. If you want to discuss more about religion, we should move to PMs instead of the forum. The above was only because he brought up religion in relation to the vaccine.

I just looked at the ingredients for vaccines and they remind me of baking.

Most spike protein are egg protein and that's used to bind the RNA together.

Salt is being used to preserve the vaccine (thought cold is need for instability reasons)

a lot of people here is like oh i dont care about covid, in other words saying as long as its not affecting me or my family i dont care about it, guess what, and it will kill your older/vulnerable loved ones, they don't even need to be vulnerable, someone my sibling knows in the their 20s died from Covid.

@EDKTech, "saying my body my decision", is selfishness at another level. if you were a hermit with no human contact i would say go for it all you want, but reality is you don't, anti-vaxxers ruin it for everyone, people who dont have the vaccines are the reason viruses mutate, once everyone has a vaccine its gone, no more mutations of it, take for example small pox, its been eradicated because everyone agreed upon the fact that science rules. i hope you reflect upon what i just said 🙂

Right...

A man was trapped in his house during a flood. He began praying to God to rescue him. He had a vision in his head of God’s hand reaching down from heaven and lifting him to safety. The water started to rise in his house. His neighbor urged him to leave and offered him a ride to safety. The man yelled back, “I am waiting for God to save me.” The neighbor then drove off in his pick-up truck.

The man continued to pray and hold on to his vision. As the water began rising in his house, he had to climb up to the roof. A boat came by with some people heading for safe ground. They yelled at the man to grab a rope they were ready to throw and take him to safety. He told them that he was waiting for God to save him. They shook their heads and moved on.

The man continued to pray, believing with all his heart that he would be saved by God. The floodwaters continued to rise. A helicopter flew by and a voice came over a loudspeaker offering to lower a ladder and take him off the roof. The man waved the helicopter away, shouting back that he was waiting for God to save him. The helicopter left. The flooding water came over the roof and caught him up and swept him away. He drowned.

When he reached heaven and asked, “God, why did you not save me? I believed in you with all my heart. Why did you let me drown?” God replied, “I sent you a pick-up truck, a boat, and a helicopter and you refused all of them. What else could I possibly do for you?

BTW, you're the drowning guy in that story.

exactly. while I do belive in a religion, it specially tells us to trust in god but at the same time try to live. so in so we should also trust science, and take the vaccine.

It's very important to make the distinction between reported cases and actual cases here. The first reported case was January 2020 according to Wikipedia. That means it probably was there before already. I've talked to people as well that were very ill after travelling just before COVID "officially" had spread here significantly. Similarly from tests the omicron variant seems to have been in my country in early November already, briefly after South Africa reported it.

[Edit] found a better source. CDC confirmed first case end of 2019/early 2020: https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2020/p0121-novel-coronavirus-travel-case.html

Sorry I was referring to the outbreak in Seattle

Probably some respatory problem

No one knows when Covid got here that’s the problem. The symptoms matched.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

It maybe wasn't pandemic status until then, but it likely was around already. These things are hard to lock down in retrospect, because at the time we weren't rigorously looking for every trace of it.
