Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

Its very good so far, very confortable and has tons of space.

The only thing i'm going to do to it is upgrade the audio system, the stock speakers and head unit are a little weak.

I said 900rpm, not 9000rpm. That's close to idle speed for most engines, and even some large V8s don't make over 100hp below 2000rpm, because they don't start making much torque before then. In the real world of driving, people don't usually launch off of stoplights at 2k rpm, dumping the clutch or power braking, even when driving relatively aggressively.

bugeye wagon ... looks nice
depending on what engine is in it ... id consider running away from them
i personally am not a big fan of the turbo EJ25 and EJ20 engines

id go for a Legacy or an Outback since they had an option for the 3.0 or 3.6 which were a hell of a lot more reliable at the same power ... sadly uncommon cause people dont want their family wagon to sound like a Porsche :D

I wonder that too, there hasn't been any real trauma to the car so it must have been the summation of 80k miles of potholes.

I didnt get a neat printout like that when I got my alignment done! Now I cant compare, though I do recall my camber being more out of whach than anything (that's expected because I lowered the car) and I also do thing I saw toe being misaligned too. Cant recall how much though.

Do STs not have rear toe adjustment. Those are pretty borderline. Then again with our alignment machine (hawkeye elite) it kinda spits out whatever it feels like on the print off. Won't be the same measurements as I was looking at while adjusting.

Fuel economy though :(

I guess 2.0 Turbo engines also throw fuel economy out the window when you step on the gas

sadly the 2.0 turbo and 2.5 turbo have terrible fuel economy since the original engine design is like from 1988
So the 3.0 6 cylinder has the same if not better fuel economy than a 2.0 or a 2.5 turbo 4 cylinder
the 3.0 has more torque before the turbo kicks in on the 2.5 ... and better fuel economy after the turbo kicks in

Oh and the 2.0 and 2.5 are known to have head gasket issues

Also the legacy will have a better interior since its technically subarus luxury car... And if you want it they also have the 2.0 and 2.5 options

Honestly love the police in the UK.

In my town, you're looking at about 10 police officers for a population of 90K

Bike gets stolen? House gets burgled? Pffft. Maybe the next day they'll show.

Just now, there must have been about 15 police officers, around 6 cars inc vans, sitting on an entry to a 20mph zone that comes from a 60mph, trying to catch people out

All 'bout dat £££££££££££££

Everything i say is my own opinion. So if you disagree with what I post, you are wrong.

Hey guys!

I was surprised to find this thread on this forum! I like a good car group!

I have a custom made monster here, Its a custom Chassis, sitting on the running gear of a 76 Chevy Cheyenne. The motor is a Chevy 350 with a 4 barrel Edelbrock and a Oversized Cam. The tranny is a 700R4 automatic with a 2000rpm stall converter. The body is a 80's Jeep with 7" cut out of the center to narrow it up. She's a ripper.

Also, the most important feature, a loop mounted to the roll cage to hook up a chain leash, for my puppy to ride safely...

*EDIT, My dad, Brother, Uncle, and Myself, built it in 4 Months for around $3000. Anythings possible if you do it yourself.

Many hours of research :D
as a bit of a saab fan .. i quite like these, especially the facelift ones so might seem biased xD

Some were available AWD ... or XWD as Saab called it.
Depending on what power output it has ... it either has the bigger or smaller turbo (which are mostly interchangeable and should be reliable)
Garett GT2052s for the smaller turbo and Mitsubishi TD04-14T for the larger one ... there was a smaller mitsubishi one for some other middle models but i dont remember much about that
the TD04 has many different versions ... 15T being used on the 2.8T V6 saabs ... with a 18T or 19T being a common performance upgrade

B207 engine is know to be able to hold a ton of power reliably in case you want to go into tuning them.
I think the highest output one was 210hp but not fully sure, while the lower ones were 150 (these were labeled as 1.8t but still the same 2.0L B207 engine) or 175hp
All of those power stages can get like 250hp with the biggest turbo and an ecu remap :P

shouldnt be difficult to get parts since its still mostly a GM car even after saab changed everything :D

Maybe @RevoltTrain has something to add since he owns one

Just bought this seam sealer for 15 bucks. I didn't have a chaulk gun the right size so I cut the top off, and used what I needed.

I think I got a dollars use out of er.

But I spent a couple hours filling a hole so I figured I might as well plug it right. Didn't know sealing seams would cost me so much.
