It's fine I guess. I don't spend my time on Googles services staring at their logo so it really doesn't make a difference.

That's going to get time to get used to, looks weird given they actually changed the font to something drastically different.

Man that is one ugly logo. What's up with IT companies making their logos look like it's just the text tool with no effects being used? So boring and ugly to look at.

I personally don't like it, but will probably get used to it very soon. Seems like some kind of trend, everyone is getting a new logo.

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.
