I'm not a fan of those perfectly round "o"s. Isn't O suppose to be oval?

Oh well, not a huge change and I doubt I'll even remember it in a week or two. Their new 4 colored G favicon looks a lot better than the old G icon though.

I think I prefer it in a flat sans-serif. The old logo looked very 90's to me.

That's entirely the choice of the designer of the font. Lots of modern sans-serif fonts use round or nearly round bowls.

I honestly give zero fucks. IMO, it will match everything else better (like the search results font, Android, etc).

Man that is one ugly logo. What's up with IT companies making their logos look like it's just the text tool with no effects being used? So boring and ugly to look at.

True, and I very much like minimalism. But there is nothing to the logo. I could do that in paint in 1 minute. It looks like a discount logo for a local grocery store.

It was long overdue in my opinion. I like it. They could have used a lighter font / sans serif, but I like it more than the old one none the less.

I'll miss the "Internet of the early 2000's" feel of the old one.

Now it's just a flat minimalist design like all the others. No originality whatsoever.

What in the seven hells? How is it that a logo affect so much daily usage? Kids these days argue about stuff like this?
