Call of duty black ops 4 has been revealed and is releasing on October 12, 2018

It isn't a license and they're doing a pretty good job unlike those "other guys" that started the franchise. 

 

The Black Ops series have been the only worthwhile campaigns for me. Here's my hope for another wonderful installment.

I can't wait until Black Ops 36435128 when the graphics actually look good and the microtransaction cost per bullet is the highest it has ever been. Hopefully the gameplay would be good, but maybe that would be too much to ask.

They already have One in the Chamber; great mode for those that actually WANT to play a fast game. Let's not make it worse by adding a $10 entry per match or life.

Black ops has been the best franchise, it's not like modern warfare, WW2. It has a special timeline behind Mason. That's what made this game unique to me, and why black ops 1 and 2 is still popular today.

This is gonna be good since we aren't having futuristic shit which we all hate, black ops 2 was good though cause they limited that to a degree.

I really REALLY enjoyed 3's storyline. It was quite a good mix of "da'fuq" and "what if" compared to Spacey's Advanced Warfare: Black Hole Rising.

I loved most of the Black Ops games. Hopefully they stick to tried and true methods, avoid stupid wall running and jet packs, and create a solid game.

Modern Warfare 1 (COD4) was great, MW2 was a giant turd that just kept coming. COD2 was excellent also and really long, but that's going back a bit far.

Only care about the zombies mode, So hopefully that gets better this time. I only play the solo campaign when my internet is down, and don't touch the multiplayer because it's shit. 

Probably going to have to buy a PS4 Pro, or maybe an Xbox One X since I sold my PC a few months ago.

I played 1 and 2 extensively, but only played the zombies mode in BO3. Didnt even play the campaign. And even the Zombies mode I kinda fell out of by the last map. I'm just too interested in other games at this point

Treyarch is only doing a good job at pandering to the lowest common denominator.

 

BO3's single player campaign was garbage. Characters were bland cardboard cutouts, it barely tied into the stpryline at all, and the story itself was boring as all fuck. The multiplayer also excessively repetitive, most of the maps offered no chance at strategy, and the inly guns that stood out were the ones that were hot garbage.

BO2's was at the same level as MW2's, not fantastic, but good enough.

 

I'd say that Advanced Warfare, Infinite Warfare, and WW2 are all superior to BO2 & 3, and that Ghosts was VASTLY superior.

Guarantee it will. Treyarch locked EVERY DLC weapon in the lootbox last time, without increased odds of getting them.

Whereas Sledge made them extremely likely to get via box in AW, and you can get them through rotating challenges in WW2. IW made them unlockable through crafting, challenges, and loot box.

IIII would only be used by the uneducated, or it's a mistake. IV is the correct version.
