Youtube-dl uses no copyrighted code. It's like striking wget, curl or megatools because they all can be used to illegally download content.

Quotes My thoughts I'm not surprised that this has happened as I have been surprised several times just how powerful Youtube-DL is. I think it's kinda stupid to show stuff like music videos as examples as for example RPCS3 has received DMCA takedown because they mentioned Persona 5. However I believe that this is abuse of DMCA as Youtube-DL is 100% original work.

I tried that, but my db backup is a binary dump and when I try to turn it to a plain text dump, it ends up as ASCII, so converting that breaks, at minimum, tsvector.

I run a Mastodon instance and I'm trying to restore my database backup after a failed update, however I'm unable to do so and have no clue how to fix it. It appear my database was broken long before and I didn't notice, so all my backups have this error. Log:
