  1. @GDRRiley Anupdate on the workloads, the 3400G will only use AutoCAD in 2D, afaik that’s not as demanding and 3400G should run it decently (2D). What are your thoughts?
  2. Does SolidWorks and AutoCAD like Nvidia better than Radeon then? Despite Radeon crazy good OpenCL perf
  3. Then I will buy the 3400G, it is just for viewing in AutoCAD, not much more
  4. Its also a lot more expensive, but is it needed or does the 3400G meet the minimum spec? Like we are talking $149 vs $219 + $279 for the other combo
  5. Hi, I may do a PC for a client, however I am intrigued wether I need a NVidia GPU, Radeon GPU or if the iGPU on a Ryzen 5 3400G will suffice. The use case is SketchApp, basic SolidWorks and AutoCAD (2015), alongside Acrobat Pro (Adobe) and MS Office. These are the Specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3400G APU (4C/8T 3.7GHz Base, 4.2 GHz Boost, 12nm, Zen+) Graphics: AMD Radeon RX Vega 11 12nm (11CUs, 704SPs, 1750MHz) Cooler: AMD Wraith Spire RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200 CL16 (2x8GB) Motherboard: ASRock B450M Steel Legend Storage: WD Blue 3D NAND M.2 SATA SSD (500GB
  6. 8/12C on TR3K is stupid, however, 16C would be a good entry point, for people that wont pony up for 24C+ or dont need them but do need the Memory Channels and PCIe lanes, give it a slightly higher TDP (125W) and a price of $799 and you have a good chip.
  7. Hey, and the 5500 has got 2CUs (1DCU) disabled, meaning we are getting a 5500XT at some point in the future.
  8. Hey, so, I got into Lttstore.com and looked at the awesome Constellations T Shirt design (you really outdid yourselves with that one guys) but there´s a problem... There´s no stock in any other size than Large and XL. Problem, I am a fairly small guy (1.70m) and I really wanna buy it (shit up and take my money) but the Small Size has been unavailable for more than a MONTH. Guys, do you think it will be re-stocked? For those wondering which T Shirt (This One): https://www.lttstore.com/products/constellations?variant=15986190680162 P.D.: The Hard
  9. No, it still has 4. Each chiplet has 8 cores, with two four core CCX´s each
  10. So, I like the engineering, mechanic and tech side of guns, even though I don´t believe the majority of the population should have them (I live in Mexico City). Anyways, I have a particular interest for .308 (7.62x51mm NATO) battle rifles. Could you help me rank a list of these rifles (which I am fond off) based on technical/mechanical data (such as action, reliability, ROF, recoil)? FN SCAR 17 (also known as SCAR-H) The OG FN FAL (modern SA-58 variant too) The also OG HK G3 Rifle (Modern variants, such as the G3A3) HK 417 modern Universal Assault Rifle (even though
  11. With the new FSD Dual Chips they are implementing I believe they will reach level 3... But for now, that is all. Even when we reach level 5 in say, 10-25 years, you should pay attention to whatever the fuck you are doing, you are in the driver´s seat. And also, it is your life, take fucking care of it. (Im an EMT Trainee)
  12. Reasonable price of $750... Has an 828p IPS Screen
  13. So, Ive been into tech for almost three years now, but there´s something I still dont understand and isnt clear to me. Why do we count CPU/GPU or any kind of core the way we do?* In a quad core CPU we dont say Core1, Core2, Core3 and Core4, but rather we say Core0, Core1, Core2, Core3. Why is this?
