Oh god, f*ck off dyson, seriously...

Honestly, the stupid thing costs 700 bucks, do you really think we have that kind of money available? We can barely get a decent graphics card for that money...

Also, no RGB, wtf.

If you want my attention, quote meh! D: or just stick an @samcool55 in your post :3

I agree, where's the RGB?!

Dyson uses an off the shelf panasonic motor in their upright vacuums.  If I wanted that I'd buy something at Walmart for 1/4th the price.

I've noticed most of the techtubers are covering this portable BJ machine.

This video confirmed to me the spirit of the LTT channel has finally died . I used to love the pure focus on tech and PCs / the jankyness of the videos / the informality of it all - but it was always about the PC centric tech. This video has confirmed LTT has just become one huge marketing juggernaut akin to a tele-shopping channel (and now you have the set to match)

RIP LTT

You're entitled to your opinion, but I think that PC tech gets boring as fuck. It's great when there's new shit coming out, but there's only so much to cover with it. "Oh look. A new motherboard. Yay." And you have to wait on the cycle of new devices coming out. So what are they supposed to do in the meantime? $1,500 PC #2? With worse specs than the previous due to the price hike? Personal build log? That content runs dry quickly.

That said, I haven't watched LTT in a few years due to changing taste and not having time.

b-b-b-but muh, muh cyclone technology

Seen some video where a dude tears apart one of the ball ones or whatever. Off the shelf motor was a surprise given the cost.

i understand going away from Tech.  but Dyson? really?  an ad for a $700 hand vacuum.. I'd rather get a Black&Decker for 1/7th the cost

I expect this out of iJustine, Austin, and Hardware Canucks.  but this is awful.

is Jay the only TechTuber who hasnt become a blatant shill?

Every single tech youtuber has made a video on this thing today haha

I know, I think the NDA for Dyson expires today, dyson wants reviewers to release their content on the same day and they want Dyson to show up as trending, this is really smart of dyson. We're even talking about Dyson  now!

And I mentioned Dyson 6 times.

The tour was meh, not like the old one in the house.

unless Dyson starts paying my salary,  just talking about it isnt going to be enough to get me to drop $700 on a vacuum.

and if i had that much to get one, it would be a Kirby not a Dyson

I have bought 3 dyson vacuums. All about $700 first one my ex took, second lasted 10+ years being used almost every day before the motor died. Third I just bought to replace it.

I liked the studio tour and haven't seen any review on the dyson since I have no interest in seeking them out. This gets the ad out to more people so it's effective. Plus I liked the way Linus integrated it into the video.
