Car Enthusiast Club [Now Motorcycle friendly!] - First thread to 150k! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

Started repainting the Corolla's steelies today, and they turned out pretty well! Here are some before and after pics, as well as the old hubcaps. Also that gap between the wheel and the fender is gigantic...IMG_20190525_192534888_HDR.thumb.jpg.9cce6d8a0b14179c6d3f0c70ca3dfa43.jpg

I’d rock the painted Steelies all day over some beat up hubcaps. Looks much better

Finally got around to re-fiberglassing the lip I shattered into at least 4 separate pieces being a snowplow through the winter.

Just did the final coat of primer and planning on painting it tomorrow.

Honestly love the roads in my town.

Luckily I know more or less the majority of pot holes, but seen another biker nearly go head over tits merging into this

(is like that for the majority of the lane and is a lot deeper than it looks)

What car is this on again? And rather than getting a new one go to the local scrappers, probably only cost you £30 at most

Or was it....

Easy enough to fix though, plenty of room to work behind the hub with the drum off.

I do too, and I also see people who tell me that every place's card reader is different and that they left the tip on the table.

Except I actually do leave the tip at the table sometimes when I have the spare cash because I figure no one is paying taxes on their cash tips ;) If I tip on the card though it's usually a fair tip, but the cash tips are for the especially good servers. Or I'm with someone and we're splitting the pay so one of us is paying the food with the card and the other is cash tipping.
