Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

Turbo J32A2 in my miata is starting to really sound delicious though

maybe it could just be the turbo lag that makes you not feel that extra 150 or so, since the 335i is twin turbo'd. or maybe it's just a heavy car.

maybe idk.. there was 3 people including me in the car at the time. idk what he had in the trunk either...

but yeah it's quick... just didn't feel as quick as what the numbers are supposed to be. It certainly could be since the turbos don't spool till a bit later they don't have that huge torque shove that I love lol so the power is more linearly applied.. idk i still think somethings up

i still want to experiment with removing the muffler on the miata. But at the same time I don't and rather just get a different, better muffler

Glasspacks make everything.. well more interesting.

The newest BMW I drove, you had to really really lay into the pedal to wake things up. Anything less it was pretty nonchalant.

So by this time next week I could potentially have my own car on the driveway. A good condition MK2 Clio has come up for sale locally to me though the price is insane (£1k) considering its done 102000 miles. Hoping to get it for maybe £750 ish. Black, alloys and no sunroof (no leaks) and a newer year so insurance is cheaper :)

Needs money for car parts :P

System specs: Core i7 9700k, Dark Rock Pro 4 , MSI Z390 PRO, 16GB CORSAIR VENGENCE DDR4 3000, EVGA GTX 1070 FTW, Corsair AX860, Seagate 1TB, Sandisk 240GB SSD, Corsair 400c

Decided to throw applications at everything to see what would stick.

Ended up getting an interview at an old folks home as a caretaker.

Which is fine. I've worked in elderly care before.

And it'll tide me over until i some other company gives me a call.

Also adds the opportunity to get a fast track course as a nurse

Which i can use to apply to a police academy if i so desire.

So we'll see. Interview is on Wednesday and they are understaffed.

Will probably be an hourly position so i'll be able to work a lot at least.

man, that car looks surprisingly loaded. a manual, push button start, auto climate control, hell i think it might even be bluetooth. but i don't see cruise control. i'm assuming no cruise? but for a cheap looking renault, that's surprisingly loaded.

Paid almost $6 in SoCal when I lived there back then, not a great time to have a Durango with a Hemi.

Here in Portugal gas prices keep on going up...

ATM diesel costs around 1,2x€ per liter and petrol almost 1,5€ per liter...
