I would need to wait a few months before I’m able to buy a GPU. Starting from September I’ll have the money. The only thing I’d want is a good deal on a good GPU.

I would upgrade the GPU first in your case then .  There will be even better deals on the 5700X3D later 🙂

I have a 5700X and a 3060 TI, the 5700X3D is on sale for $210 USD and I can sell my 5700X for around $140-160 USD. Should I do it?

I play in 1440p so I’m thinking a GPU upgrade should come first but the sale seemed pretty good and I’m wondering if it would be worth it. Am I coping?

You would see a bigger increase in performance with a faster GPU right now.

However, the deal on the 5700X3D looks tempting and getting that now and a faster GPU later will give you the biggest performance boost once you got both components.

Its a tough choice!, How long until you can get a GPU upgrade if you get the 5700X3D now?

Honestly speaking, 5700x3d/5800x3D only makes sense to upgrade IF you are on Ryzen 2000/3000, not ryzen 5000 series cpus. GPU upgrade would do you much better, then if even that wasnt enough then do the CPU upgrade. Its a good bump for most games, but its not the leap as it was for those on the older cpus.

I think your next upgrade should be more RAM, because it's the year 2024, not 2016, so go with 32GB not 16. Also, a good cooler if you already don't have one. Then you can start thinking about a new GPU, because I bet you are not even close to getting the full potential out of your 5700X.
