Just as an aside. The results are pulled every hour, if we happen to get a bad update when the event ends we will use the update from the previous hour for the final update.

so my second dumb question is going to be when do FAH di their update?,  so why not pull kist after their update

We do pull just after their update(which is every hour), but sometimes the update can be invalid hence why we have a procedure in place just in case

weird time for their update to be done or is it done so its ready for the UTC hour change, suppose that's more a question for FAH DOH

What do you mean a weird time? The question confuses me.

 

They update EVERY HOUR, much like we pull the stats EVERY HOUR.

This is weird, just over 24hours left for the event to finish and i'm happy but sad

 

I haven't had a chance to use the 3070FE for games or even try my 5600x out lol

 

so Monday I will be installing a fresh Windows and getting some "working" from home lol while playing games

Leela iZac and all my laptops go to finish at 5PM Centeral tomorrow...Flexo Bender and calculon will go GPU only till the Sprint is done then will go Bender only

lost 2 psu  with this event. i thought i lost 1 system. but no. just test psu.

but yeah this type of stuff hammers hardware.

idk what happen to my test psu.  pulled it out to spin up a pc and bam it was dead. annoying to. seeing it was a 600 watt evga psu.

I had a fall about an hour ago, I'm not too hurt, mostly just injured my shoulder. I'm still planning to have the stats sorted for you guys as per usual but it seems my health continues to fight the annual folding month. 

 

I'm sure you will all stand by me saying this year can go f**k itself!

It was half my own fault, I'm supposed to be using my walking stick but I don't around the house. Went to grab my chair and pulled it over on myself like an idiot, it was not what you could call graceful.

For this last 24 hours I think I am just gonna open up the case and set my GPU fans to 100% to get every last bit out I can! The GPU fans may be very noisy at max, but with the case open they keep my RTX 2070 Rev. A (The OC version) at 57-58C and at 1980MHz clock speed! Memory is running at 7000MHZ with P2 State Off.

Same here. 

dropped temps by ~20c on the Msi and 10c on evga lol the evga is clocking higher thou along with msi. 
yeah bender will be going down tomorrow after the event for an hour for dust removal there’s a little bit of dust in there as I removed all the air filters at the beginning of the event. And imagine that having the Fans all at 100% gathered dust up
