@Den-Fi wow just wow, 129 mil today.  im not worthy /bow

 

thanks to @GOTSpectrum, @marknd59, @cbigfoot, @leadeater, and anyone else who helped out.  we did a good thing.

 

Now to spin everything down back to a 12mill ppd and get some quiet and heat outa the server room.

I see... Maybe in the server room. I live in a 10 story building so they would more than likely have  some pretty crazy power potential here, even if it's not in the dorm rooms.

wow i was slightly under calculated lol...so needs 6 20amp 240 circuits lol didnt think about redundancy...

Not a problem on my part supporting a cause that i care about is no problem.  though if we did it midnights CST/CDT it would be as i would be asleep...

OK, so while I would need more plugs to fake the redundancy and allow for PS load balancing, I could run it off of the RV or dryer or garage shop circuits without an issue.  Too bad I don't know people with this stuff close enough for a car ride borrow.

Who needs a clothes dryer or oven anyways? 😆 Just use the grill and clothes line for a bit, FOLD PROTIENS!

First time my 3070FE fan has turned off since i got it lol

Aww, the event is over. Does that mean I plug my monitor into my 2060 and play Factorio at 400 FPS?

 

Mine's not too noisy. I sleep with it everyday. Panels removed.

First folding event for me and I got totally hooked. I know I said to @cbigfoot that I would fall below him again after an initial boost. But once up there, I wanted... needed to keep going. Sorry mate! Probably spend way to much on this event, but hey, its for science, right. Congrats to all participating and big thanks to everyone organizing this. Glad I can finally use my PC for gaming again now.

What are you running?

With my 1660 Super I got 1M ppd best case scenario, but I do some web browsing and stuff on the side so that usually got me down to 900k ppd.

As for my cpu I still have a i5 2500k x) I've been looking for an upgrade but single threaded wise it still holds strong, especially because I got lucky and got a good yield that can go 4.5GHz all day at a merely 1.35V :) The most cpu intensive work I do are SPICE simulations because I do electrical engeneering, and that kind of workload doesn't scale well with corecount so I'm happy for now. Plus it feeds my 1660S without being a bottleneck to yeeeeet x)
