The saddest part of all of this. Is like 50% want to stop the spread and protect the population. The other 50% dont give a shit if people die. Its only 2%, at least thats what they say.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

I have taken the vaccine yesterday (Pfizer). I have raging headache and my right side of my body is in pain and I can't use my right hand at all and I just took some pain killers. This feels all too familiar. 😞

Yes, when I took the flu vaccine back in 2019 but the headache wasn't bad as it is now. 😞

Yeah that's not terribly surprising. The headaches are one of the more common side effects of the COVID vaccines. It should pass soon, and I tell you what, it's a hell of a lot better than actually getting COVID.

Some of my friends got COVID because the people who sat in front of them go to a co-op that doesn't take any precautions whatsoever.

Of course, because they had been a "pod", their friends also got COVID.

According to them, not being able to taste or smell is weird.

Anyone has a mask with fans and filters?

I was going to buy the LG Puricare but saw that people's ears become folded.. amazing how they screwed up the design. But I have found this one that solves it:

https://atmoblue.com/index.html

It has the same H13 hepa filters, RoHS, SRCC and QCQ certified. It has a proper strap so your ears aren't carrying all the weight. Im gonna need this specially for the summer because I can't breathe properly with ffp2. Anyone has this type of mask?

Those mask aren't made for Covid, but more for places that have lots of dust. Saw some test where they said those with those filter holes perform the worst.

For masks, I'm using one of three setups:

1: N95 3M (high risk situations, medical appointments, vaccine clinic, etc)

2: Disposable mask + Gildan Cloth mask + Badger Seal (medium risk, going to the store for brief visits, etc.)

3: Disposable mask + badger seal (low risk, going outside to walk around)

Don't forget to get a pneumococcal vaccine too (PCV13 and/or PPSV23), ask your doctor about it. It will not protect you from Covid-19 but it should help reducing mortality due to S.pneumoniae, a common secondary bacterial infection in cases viral pneumonia.

I’ll be able to get the vaccine starting this Saturday now since it’s based on occupation and not strictly age.

Hey, at least they're not covid deniers.

Anyway, went for my jab yesterday evening, I had the Pfizer Biontech one. Before I left I had my mum, an aunt and an uncle calling me telling me how it makes your arm sore, gives you a headache, makes your joints and muscles ache and makes you feel pretty groggy for about 24 hours.

At this point I'm wondering if they really gave me anything, I didn't feel the injection at all and I just woke up after 8 hours sleep and I feel absolutely fine. I have no indication that I had the jab at all (other than a very mild headache which could be totally unrelated).

Don't be a moron people, if you get offered a jab please take it.

They usually don't give these to people under 65 - I was given this one a few years ago because I have diabetes though.

I was fine but was just really tired for the next day and my arm was a bit sore.

My aunt and uncle got their vaccines cause they both work at a hospital.

My great-grandma had her first dose, but not her second.

Our housemate is fully vaccinated (also works at hospital).

And if I get into a study, I'll get it too - and get paid for it!
