I have a 1u dual 2.8 ghz xenon server sitting unused, would love to have it folding 24/7 but i currently cannot host it at home, using the 3700x atm on idlemode, but would be great to get the blade up too.

No problem, we're here to help, not criticize. Just pause the client first, then go into the slots tab and remove the CPU slot, next step is to add a GPU slot - DO NOT CHANGE any values, just select it as is, then add it, save it, unpause the client and let the program configure itself and get going.

This was a huge save for me. THANK YOU! Like many of us I bet, I am at my PC all the time right now and being able to use my RTX 2070 to fold but keep my CPU for myself is crucial. The client is STILL estimating I'll get about 400,000 points PER DAY! AND I can watch Mary Tyler Moore on HULU while I do it! You're the best!

Taskmanager doesn't reported correctly. Use gpuz or some other program and you will see that is is working fully!

Thats normal, check in GPU-Z instead of task manager and you'll see GPU load is at 100%

Does it automatically combine the totals across two machines if using the same pass key and username? Sorry I didn't see it in the FAQs.

Change taskmanager GPU view to "CUDA" and you will see almost 100% load.

You have to change one of the graphs to CUDA on Nvidia or Compute_1 on AMD in the task manager window for the GPU to see GPU utilization or use something lie GPUZ.

#RIP_PCMR. We quadrupled our active user amount in less than a week, doubled within a day after the latest folding video went live. That video is approaching 1 Million views already and makes me appreciate LMG a bit more as a company.

It's not the speediest of computers, averaging about 8hours per unit, but i can happily leave it on 24/7 with no worries about heat/noise or electricity usage :)

So my 3900x (points per day predicted at 230.000) got a WU, my RTX2080 had one till i changed the max powerlimit and i got corrupted, its now waiting on a new one. My Notebook (point per day predicted at about 750.000) folds with a i7 9750H and a RTX2060.

Do you have a link to details on the ITX rig? Curious what 2080 TI you could fit in one

Joined my old gaming laptop yesterday. Have experienced som glitching with finished WU's not popping up in the statistics. Hopefully they will come up later.

Only have had one small CPU task though, so I've dedicated that one to Rosetta@Home now instead where they have over 800.000 jobs queued. Running that one on the LTT team as well.

Waiting for new GPU tasks at F@H, but havent gotten any in 2 hours so I guess they are running low on WU's?

They are running low, as the blue box at the top of the page shows

I've got F@H running on my main desktop (2700X + 2080Ti) and it's pretty reliably churning through WUs, as they come available. However, my NAS - on a Ryzen 3 2200G + Windows 10 isn't running anything. Default install.

- FAHClient.exe is running, but I can't see anything under netstat -ano with its PID

- Web Control can't connect to the client

- Advanced Control can't connect to the client (127.0.0.1:36330)

- Log shows my 4 CPU slots are ready

I'm guessing there's something going on with a firewall somewhere, but I've allowed FAHClient.exe and FAHControl.exe through the firewall and still nothing. Any client configuration tips I can look at to see why it's not starting?

Uninstall, remove all firewall rules and reinstall. Both make sure you have the hole punched in the firewall, and in Configure - Expert, make sure when you first start it a "Extra Client Option" is set to Name: Web-Control Value: True       I think it was something like that. Then I was able to use web control.. I would try that

SNIP

Very nicely packed system! My 2070 has millimeters of room in my case. Turns out a case from 8 years ago wasn't designed with coolers as large as today's in mind
