Haha, I got three machines waiting for a new WU. Found an old Zotac Atom mini PC and installed Manjaro on it the last hour. Started the client and BOOM within 5 minutes it got a WU.... Now it's gonna stretch it legs... Boy is this slow :P.

I remember when they ran out of Core 17 projects and got those nasty big core 18 projects, but never recalled that their server would have ran dry TBH :) :) :)

How do you make sure you run covid-19 only? Is that even possible?

It's not. Changing the disease options would require a full new release of the software, so choose Any and it prioritizes COVID-19

F@H prioritizes Covit-19. So as long as you selected any disease (it is set like that by default) you are working on covit-19!

You choose "any disease in the web client". COVID work will be automatically prioritised.

Bah, of course my old laptop with a Quadro K1100M keeps getting GPU work units, but my gaming rig has only gotten 1 in the last 11 hours...

At least I have Rosetta running on the CPU of the big rig.

Edit: Ha, seconds after posting I got a GPU WU on the gaming rig. Hooray!

Now it's working for me too, launched F@H on my Notebook, got a GPU Unit, paused, quit the client copied the folder to my PC, there the client quit the WU because of the different GPU, cleaned something up, and not more than 10 minutes later got a GPU Unit and is working, no more failed reading core package header. Error. Now only my 3900x has to get some WU working, and I'm happy.
