PewDiePie fans strike again, GTA V Online hacked and in game notices changed to advertise him

After his fans hacked printers earlier this week they've stuck again...

Quote

Fans have been tweeting the Swedish-born gamer – real name Felix Kjellberg – with screenshots of notices that have popped up during gameplay reading: ‘Subscribe to Pewdiepie on YouTube’.

‘Someone has hacked GTA V,’ one viewer wrote.

Another added: ‘Mine too,’ while a third said: ‘happened to me last night ffs.’

https://metro.co.uk/2018/12/05/pewdiepie-fans-hack-gta-v-latest-stunt-help-youtube-battle-t-series-8209784/amp/

I find this whole thing childish tbh, literally nobody with any modicum of common sense cares who has the most YT subs, heck even PewDiePie himself doesn't care. I'll be interested when people start getting arrested though.

As is always the case, the drama is caused by the fans. PewDiePie has publicly stated he doesn't care and is surprised its taken this long but the fans, oh boy.

I once heard an apt quote, something like...

Quote

Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people.

Technically they've yet to surpass him...
They got close, within 16,000 Subs iirc and then Markiplier streamed for 48 minutes telling people to sub to him and Jacksepticeye put up a tweet along with a lot of other smaller Youtubers. Thing is it'll probably take for them to get that close again for them to take him over as burst such as those seem to keep coming.
And either way at this rate I see them sub botting, when Youtube was down worldwide they gained a shit load of subs and around the same time every day seem to gain a lot of subs at once.

With all this crap going on, I hope the second or third place people/companies can overtake Pewdiedie for at least a year... This is going way out of hand... On the bright side, GTA V's developers now know there's a security breach somewhere, so does that printer company.

Printer company? Wasn't it just exposed network printers like are and always will be everywhere?

I doubt they have boosted anything, this just happened to me like 2 days ago and they can't even prevent modders in online games as it is.
