8th gen's came with that steering wheel?

I'm pretty sure that the Matrix also came with that wheel too. You are most likely going to find gray ones more easily than black ones.

yes the gen 8 corolla S had that wheel. Gen 8 S models are pretty rare though, not a lot of people bought them compared to the 9th gen. 

 

Matrix, Celica, and Corolla had this wheel I believe. I need black. Black on Beige is somewhat acceptable, Gray on Beige isnt lol

Bad roads are very common in Lousiana. 

 

You pretty much have to avoid lowering springs here. Anything lower than my dad's G35 and you'll be in trouble, even he rubs sometimes with the stock suspension lol.

 

So many potholes, its impossible to drive straight down a 2-lane road here, you have to swerve around the holes and bumps in the asphalt lol with only a few exceptions, even the interstate here is seemingly unsafe in some places. 

 

 

that said, there are a few (crucial word) smooth roads. My favorite of which is Hwy 126, but thats a few hours away from here.

So, after a minor setback regarding a corrupted 16GB SD card, I can finally share photos from the weekend! In the interests of time, I decided not to go see the Superbikes since it was an hour one way from where I was going to be Sunday. If you are going to quote a photo, it would probably be easier for you to just copy the image link rather than going through the entire post and deleting things as you go. 

 

Edit: IPB only allows 30 images per post sooooo... All of them are 1080P Spoilers on spoilers on spoilers, as requested by those with slow internet. (~40 spoilers)

The corrupted SD card just so happened to have all my photos from this morning, and I can’t justify paying the $300 to recover them. Thankfully, I always transfer some of the photos to my phone during the day, though I do wish I had transferred more.

Anyone know how good the quality on Enkei RPF1s are?

 

They look amazing IMO and have a good price point for the most part. But are they sturdy? Or do they have a tendency to kinda break?

This was the only one though. And he's had the one-eyed wink thing going since March.

 

Edit: You'd be hard pressed to find a wheel lighter than the RPF1, and everyone I've talked to says they're good for the money (aesthetics wise, that may differ). Haven't heard any complaints from the various motor racing teams I've talked to with the silver or black RPF1s on their cars, and when they do shatter it's usually because of a collision or bad track surface. NT03+Ms aren't bad either.

It'll be a mod. Gonna stealth status hide the wires and wire its own circuit instead of just having it take up a power outlet. I wouldn't think my car is fast enough for a radar detector, but I already got dinged with a 200 dollar speeding ticket in the first month of owning it. Maybe someday.

So what happened today?

Some crazy guy started pulling out onto the highway <15 feet in front of me while I was going 50. I swerved hard to dodge him and started to lose control but managed to correct myself and get straight. He tried pulling off the highway a few miles after and I got behind him and was gonna call him in but I dropped my phone into the abyss between the seat and center console while shifting. If I didn't swerve I would of hit him for sure.

That happens every single day in LA freeways. And then there are people who don't understand how merging lanes work...
