  1. You don't like Z? And who are these audiophiles that hate him? I know I've been away from LTT for a while but this is all news to me
  2. Thanks man! Just as I thought. I'd like to keep the dust down if it's not necessary. As of now, my car gets very limited aggressive use (only on back roads like once a week) and zero track use. I don't play on tracking this car anyway Also, saving a few bucks on something I don't need is always good!
  3. I think you'll like the Sennheisers, but first watch this so that you align your wants to the right model. Hope this helps!
  4. So I'm thinking either Centric Premuim rotors and EBC Green pads, or Centric Premuim rotors and Posi Quiet pads, which are ceramic and AFAIK they're the best cheap option ever. I feel like the posi quiet combo is best for my needs... Anybody else agree?
  5. Anybody here use use EBC pads? I'm thinking about Green stuff and Centric rotors. It's about time to swap out my warped OEM rotors (which probably have never been changed) and I need new pads pretty soon... might as well do them both at once!
  6. Hey LTT! I've been inactive here for like 7 months, but I'm back! I've recently been detailing over the summer and just thought I'd say so here... Anybody else a detailer?
  7. Yeah I see that a Skylake build is possible for me, but I don't see the point at all. Performance gains are within single percents, and Z170 doesn't have any features over Z97 that I would use. Z97 is the tried and true chipset in my opinion. The EVGA sleeved set is literally $90, the three sleeved cables that I would get are a total of only $30. The tiny amount of red on the MSI card isn't a problem IMO. Besides, I can paint it if I really don't like it. You also had to get rid of the Cooler Master cooler, which I prefer over the H100i because of this video, and also my Frac
  8. Well Blackblaze can suck it, because I've had my Seagate 1TB in my current PC for just over 3 years. And my parents' PC has a 500GB Seagate with all kinds of family photos and videos, and it is almost 10 years old. 10 YEARS!
  9. What? Seagate Barracudas are the best HDDs out there besides WD Blues. If the hard drive is the only thing you would change, then I think I'm set
  10. I'm going to play tons of other games, but BF is definitely the hardest to run on my current PC. Another thing about this build is that I want to make it very aesthetically pleasing. I plan on doing all-white parts and then have blue LEDs to make everything blue. It's gonna be sexy!
  11. Yes! Lower is obviously better, also. But several items have gone on sale over the past few months and that brings the total down to around $1200. I will wait for each item to go on sale when I'm ready to buy everything.
  12. This is a long-awaited upgrade from an Athlon 750k and GTX 750 Ti. This is going to be my build all throughout college (and more) so it needs to last me about 3-4 more years. The hardest-to-run game I play is BF4 and Battlefront, and I'd like to run them at 100+ FPS at 1080p. 13. Just started folding again, but it just seems like it's not working right. Both CPU and GPU usage are normal (each at 97%-99%), but it seems like the temperatures are really low compared to normal gaming. CPU is at 45C and GPU is at 44C. Anybody else's AMD CPU's not heating up?
