I cant find it (moderators there must have gone and deleted most of them) but for a while there was a trend of mock "Focus ST 1, [Car] 0" racing posts where ST's would lose to bicyclists, school buses, grandma's in wheelchairs, that sorta thing. My post was

Finally got a camera, so I'm using it as a dash cam as well. Mic is pretty good already have several copyright claims. Should be 4k60 but only showing up on YT as 1080p60. Looking forward to sharing more car videos.

Race car.

275 wide fronts and 325 wide rears, massive wheels 12 inches wide in the rear and they BARELY work on our tire mounting machine and balancer.

So the car is roughly a 2010 Vette, the drivetrain is all Z06 but the chassis is non Z06 since the aluminum chassis is one crash trash where as the steel frame can be repaired and worked on. Drivetrain is all stock right now so they can figure the car out on the track. I can get in and out with the steering wheel in place no problem which is kind of messed up lol.

Silly but important question, what is the difference between C2, C3 oil etc. Some people put either in my car so I'm not sure what the difference is?

Ricing up my car, my rivet nuts came in and M5 fits my wheel liner clip holes PERFECTLY. I ordered the stainless bolts and countersunk red anodized washers. I've spent a whopping like $20 on this rice-a-roni endeavor.

I can relate. From 9pm monday night until 9pm tuesday night, my house got 4.1" of rain. One part of my back yard had 6+" of water in it and I had the pleasure of cleaning out my gutters while it was pouring out.

again with the questions for my car people here:

 

im just daydreaming about what my next car should be and thought maybe id ask around what other people think.

im stuck between 2 i really like:

 

the bmw z4 e89 i like mostly for design reasons. the long nose. the fact that its a roadster. the interior design including the big center console armrest. it just looks like its tons of fun to just relax and cruise. plus if you lower it and put some big rims on there it just look badass.

 

and then theres this little guy. the abarth 595. not the newset revision but the one before that mind you. effectivly also a 2 seater but very small and still 160HP and more. i do also like the exterior on this one especially again when lowered and some spacers on the wheels. this one doesnt so much scream badass but it just looks like it would be the most fun toy for grownups. also most of the ones out there come with an exhaust that honestly makes me a little horny hearing it. and its just the fact that you dont expect the performance and sound when you look at it. the interior i find a bit empty but absolutly love the bucket seats. plus you park anywhere with ease

hmmm apparently i felt the need to defend the 595 a bit more than i did the e89.

 

anyway which one would you go for? do you have technical reasons / knowledge about why to pick one over the other or just taste?

and please dont start with me about how both are crap and i should get this or that. im asking opinions about these 2. thanks guys

i know the 595 is pretty cool and sounds fiery and all, but i would stay away if you want your wallet to stay weighted. maintenance and reliability aren't strong suits so that's something to take into consideration. i would rather go with the bmw. tbh.
