Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Might of had a restricted PCV breather.

My main point is the reason why you take the cap off before you start is so you know it comes off before you drain it. Fords, Chrysler, and probably some others use ratcheting style caps that can strip out and spin in place when you try to take them out. Really, anything you are about to drain you need to be sure you can remove the plug where you fill it first. Otherwise you're about to have a long day. Especially if its a transfer case made out magnesium and you decide to try to weld something to one of the plugs to remove it. Gonna have a really long day after that.

Well gents (and lady) Todays finally the goddamn day i (hopefully) finish getting the downpipe, blow off valve and tuner in the FoST. It's been two months because my mechanic friend and me have had to find merging schedules (In fact I had to take vacation time to get it to work) but hopefully in six hours from now it will all be worth it!

@Mister2010 Does the Aero have a different intercooler than my car?

Spent yesterday getting the TD04 out, that was a pain in the ass. Gonna hopefully swap it in this week?

Also. All my friends are at gridlife right now. And I'm at work. This sucks.

Last year my friend James went to both gridlife events. Probably going again this year. One is an hour away in Michigan. The other is about 13 or so in Georgia. I want to do that next year so badly. I want to go to import alliance too. Will have to find a better paying job to do that though.
