I was once working on trimming a hedge, slipped while using the hedge trimmer, my right index finger found it's way into the blade, gave me a damn nice slice on the tip of my finger about a quarter inch deep or so, maybe more, maybe less, it was 8 or so years ago so the details are a wee bit foggy.

I don't get hurt too often. Of the top of my head there are a few instances that stick out:

 

Cleaning a bolt on a wire wheel at school and the bolt got sucked into the back of the bench grinder, then my thumb went into the wire wheel. Took off all of the skin from my nail to my knuckle. Hurt for almost a week until it healed. After that I wear gloves on the wire wheel.

 

Rolled my ankle playing football. Made a jumping catch, was wearing shitty shoes, and my ankle kinda just gave out when I landed and went sideways. Hurt for about a week, had to wear a brace. 

 

Hurt my back taking off brake drums off of a flatbed semi. That lingered for about 2 weeks.

Well.. 

 

I have Bilateral Contgenial Talipes Equinovarus (Bilateral Clubfoot) (See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Club_foot)

Although I have had a corrective surgery when I was a Toddler, I still suffer from extremely limited foot movement and generally weaker leg and feet muscles. 

My parents also informed me that the doctor told them I have a chance of getting Arthritis in both my ankles in my early 20s. 

I feel that this is kinda already setting in as I have recently noticed my ankles started hurting a lot for no reason or just from standing for 1 hour.

This does cause quite a lot of pain and discomfort to me :(. The worst thing is my knees also have started hurting and my parents have barely any sympathy and understanding.

 

Honestly, the most painful part of this is knowing my children would have a chance of getting this from me and if my first child had Clubfoot there is a 1 in 40 chance the second would have it. This is by far the worst part as I can understand what they are going through and I may not be able to do much about it... 

I am also fairly certain I am the first holder of this in my family, as it is a genetic defect which no one else in my family apparently has

Well, there is a 20 - 30% chance of my first child getting it and a 40% chance with the second, so I am slightly concerned..

But then again, its always best to hope for the best

When your talking about your own NUTS, it's no joke.

 

 

Age 11 - Came off in midair at the BMX track, landed my arse upon impact (harder than I thought) between the back tyre and under the seat pole,...split my nutsack, many jokes were heard, many tears were made...All in all, a pretty bad day.

Pneumonia + asthma. I've gotten it every year for most of my life (15 here) and when you're in that state, you just want to lay on a couch, and become a vegetable. Movement hurts, breathing is a chore, and you basically feel as if you're on your deathbed. The worst part is when you have to get up and go to the car to leave to the ER.

 

I know the feels when i was 5 i had Pneumonia, we never knew i had it my doctor didn't diagnose me until it was nearly to late, the doctor in hospital said if i had of got there 5 min later i would of most likely died. After that i got my tonsils taken out, i don't know how u have dealt with it every year?! surprised you aren't dead lol.

 

Pissed my girl so much she had to kick me in the nuts. Worst pain I ever had.

When I was about 7, I was visiting my grandmother in a nursing home, and I went to pet a sleeping dog. Apparently, the dog wasn't expecting that, because he then bit me in the face, just narrowly missing my eye. It wasn't very painful - I was probably in shock, but my face was completely bloody, and I still have some scars (not very noticeable, thankfully).

 

Needless to say, we moved my grandmother to another nursing home.

Probably the time I fell about two meters down and landed on my head. Or it would have hurt if it hadn't knocked me out immediately.

When i woke up I had a metal plate in my head and a killer headache from hell. 

 

The time I got clean for got was also not fun. While it didn't hurt all that much, it was extremely uncomfortable. 

It was like having the flu, but 10x worse and it lasted 32 days before it got somewhat liveable.
