Several concussions from being pushed off one of those playground jungle gym thingies with slides and landing on my head, they're about one story up. I don't know if I blacked out or not but my parents took me to the hospital each time because the nurse was an idiot.

Several concussions from being pushed off one of those playground jungle gym thingies with slides and landing on my head, they're about one story up. I don't know if I blacked out or not but my parents took me to the hospital each time because the nurse was an idiot.

Doctor said two things. 1, I am somehow alive, what the fuck. 2, I am lucky my neck did not snap.

 

I have no clue, but I've seen the scans myself so I know they're legit. :/

 

Did you get any repercussions ? If not , damn you're lucky ... 

 

Also Lucky that you didn't get a stroke ...

Nervous system in general. I doubt all of it went out, just a significant portion of it. I do remember for several years after those two concussions I had some pretty serious problems with doing anything related to body movement. One thing I remember clearly is my brain broke how blinking my eyes worked. It was never normal. Went to the doctor a few times and when he looked through my medical record the best he said was wait for my brain to heal.

.......I just don't understand,, because as far as I know that area includes the Medulla Oblongata.....which is pretty much necessary to remain breathing. It regulates autonomic functions....

No I mean did anything followed by that incident , health wise ? ( I don't know the word for it , I thought it was repercussion ... )

... Life is a game and the checkpoints are your birthday , you will face challenges where you may not get rewarded afterwords but those are the challenges that help you improve yourself . Always live for tomorrow because you may never know when your game will be over ... I'm totally not going insane in anyway , shape or form ... I just have broken English and an open mind ...
