Next year's Assassin's Creed game will take place in London during the 19th century, Kotakuhas learned. Farewell, Napoleon; hello, Jack the Ripper?2

This new entry in Ubisoft's annual open-world action series, slated for release in the fall of 2015, will take us through the dirty back alleys and rattling stagecoaches of London during the Victorian era, a historical period that fans have wanted to see in an Assassin's Creed game for quite some time now. This new Assassin's Creed game is called or code-named Victory—like Victorian!—and it will be out next year for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, according to a person familiar with the game.

Oh gad, why. Whyyyy do they keep on releasing it anually, whyyyyyy. It was fine from AC2 to AC3, they had a clear plan there with the history of Desmond ending in AC3.

But they should really have taken a break then. But no, there comes AC4, and Unity, and Rouge, and now atleast another one next year

They do, but I think one team worked on Rogue while the other did Unity. So it's still going to be a pretty short development time.
