I recently bought a Pelican case to put my Ryobi Multi-tool body and the additional Ridgid JobMax tool heads I got for the tool body in. It's deeper than I would like but it was the best one for storing all I wanted to put in it. I spent this evening pulling out the Pick Apart Foam pieces needed to make pockets for the various pieces.

 

 

The hardest part of pulling out the bits of foam for the cavities was the air is unusually dry tonight and the static electricity generated when pulling out the pieces had the pieces sticking, jumping, and flying all over. Dealing with them was like herding cats!

 

On the bottom row, going left to right, is the Ryobi tool body, the origininal multi-tool head that required an allen wrench to install and remove blades, etc., the recently introduce multi-tool head that has a lever operated latch for installing blades, etc. (best improvement ever!), and a power hammer head for tight spaces.

 

Just above the tool body is the jigsaw head. The remaining head is a right angle inmpact driver head. I have a rotary cutting tool head coming in the mail that needs to be installed and I need to make places for the various blades and attachments for the multitool heads. I'm still debating if I want to make room for a battery or two or just save the space for possible future expansion (I can always just grab a six port battery charger from its mounting bracket on the wall and use it to carry batteries).

 

I got another, smaller Pelican case to put my Dremel motor and accessories into. The case it came with doesn't have room for much of anything. I may make cutting tools from  sharpened tubing to make round holes for some of the accessories instead of picking out the foam or just drill wood blocks cut to fit in a cavity made in the Pick Apart foam. I just haven't gotten around to doing that one yet since I have so many fiddly little parts for the tool. More on that one once I get everything installed in it.

As I mentioned in my last post, I also got a Pelican laptop case to put my dremel motor and accessories into.

 

 

I left a place for another battery (which I may or may not get someday) and I need to pickup a couple of regular and EZ Lock cutting wheel dispensers and cut out holes for them in the foam. I wound up using a knife on most of the areas I removed the foam because the Pick Apart foam was just a little too attached. It's going to be nice to have everything in the same place for a change.

So I just went and spent some of my christmas money on a new monitor (MSi Optix MPG27C). It took me until I was already standing in the parking lot with the box until I realized that it might be a tight fit. It fit neither the frunk nor the trunk, but I made it work. First impressions are great, too, never had a 144 Hz monitor before and it's buttery smooth!

Where do you always get the models cheaper? 

 

I'm not really into the small models, I only get the collectors editions but those are very expensive at times

Currently still eyeing the Snowspeeder. I've seen it for 150€ but rn it's 199€. I don't think it'll be available much longer so I have to pull the trigger fast.
