This was the only Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch that fit my 3 requirements:

• NFC for Google Pay (only after buying did I realize that Pay on Wear is separate from Pay on Android, and is not supported in Belgium)
• Round
• Constant heart rate monitoring

So far I'm liking it quite a bit, though I have to say the bezels are much bigger than what the default watch face used in their marketing materials would make you believe.

Honestly, though, if I knew Pay would be unsupported, I'd have made do with a second-hand Moto 360 gen2, and would've saved myself a boatload of money.

Johnny Petraglia. The left one is an old Brunswick LT48 from the late 70s or early 80s. I'm a big fan of the old bowling ball so I "had" to get the new one

It's bloody fantastic. 

 

Feels great and photo quality is superb, especially for an APS-C. Even the included kit lens actually helps the camera rather than hinders it (which says a lot given how kit lenses are usually crap).

I recently bought a X58 oem motherboard with an i7 920, a crappy cooler and other random stuff like cables for 7€. Everything was in an "stuff we want to get rid off"-bin. He even said that the motherboard works but overheats, which was obvious since the cooler was bad and when I looked at the thermal "crust" (you can't call this thermal paste anymore) my first guess was confirmed. But everything works!

So for my 7€ I got:
- some cables

- questionable 350W PSU which had lots of adapters (even a 20 pin to 24 pin)

- MSI GT 330 OEM which needs a new bios

- Radeon HD 7870 GHz which he told is dead. It works but shows has artifacts on the screen.

- Pegatron X58 motherboard with an i7 920 and cooler

 

I also got a 24 inch 1080p monitor for 20€.

I've had these for a couple of weeks or so but I finally got around to digging out the bag today so I could put them away. I was at Ace Hardware to pick up a few screws and saw these on sale ($9.95/pr, normally around $30) and couldn't resist (I never pass up discounted clamps; a girl just can't have too many clamps).

 

 

I had to cut them loose from the cards (they were zip tied together) and spread out the blob of thick oil on the bar so I could clamp them to a piece of scrap plywood.

 

 

 

I wish they had had more of them but I suspect that was a closeout price.

Needed a harness. Tried that harness last Thursday and immediately knew a needed it...noow. Somehow, magically, an e-tailer I've ordered before put it on sale (44% off). You know, with almost half of its price slashed, kinda went "GIB MEH NAW!" mode and as I was paying for shipping anyway, threw in a belay and carabiner (that's also on sale) as excessive equipment doesn't exist in the world of climbing .

It's not a childhood dream like the Y-Wing was but this baby had my attention for long. It's almost EOL as well so I got lucky to get it on a discount so late. 

 

I also made a secret promise to myself to buy all the upcoming Collectors Edition Star Wars Sets as I always get mad when I don't get them immediately and then they are 2x the price a year later, lol. Let's see how that goes. 20th Anniversary Lego Star Wars this year
