PSU choices

testcy

What would be the best choice from the following power supplies:

BE QUIET! PURE POWER 12 M 650W

THERMALTAKE TOUGHPOWER GF A3 650W

CORSAIR RM750 750W

All seem to have a 10-year warranty.

All of these PSU are super great specs, especially the Be Quiet and Thermaltake

Since the product side is really good, I would probably resort to a very niche segment, whichever PSU brand that has an official representative office/sales in your area/country.

That way, if something wrong happened within 10 years of warranty, you will have a very ease experience of RMA the products (and don't have to burden the shipping and waiting time).

P.S.

Or whichever price is lower if you're price conscious

None of the brands has an official representative office/sales. All three power supplies are available from the same shop. The CORSAIR 750W is actually less expensive than the BE QUIET! and THERMALTAKE 650W. Is it inferior in any other way?

I like the Corsair, it has a bigger fan

I'm willing to swim against the current.

Well, checking on Cybernetics lab test report, both BE QUIET! and Thermaltake actually have higher efficiency rating (Platinum) compared to CORSAIR (Gold), but CORSAIR has the best lowest noise rating (A+)

So, I think it's quite a linear price to performance comparison for these PSU

The higher price you pay, the more premium of product's quality that you will get

That doesn't mean Corsair RM750x is "inferior", since this product is also recommended in most cases on this community PC build list, especially if you're on some budget but want to have good capable product

Capacity wise, Corsair does have advantage since it has 750W, which means if you're planning on using a high end GPU on your current or future build, you will have better ease of mind

That's quite a shame, but as long as the shop you go to is a reputable place that honour the customer service, it shouldn't be a problem on the long run

considering the corsair is a 750w with a 10 year warranty and no fan noise complaints (looking at you rme) its an easy pick

any other psu options? id also look for an 850w with a 10 year warranty if available
