I'd say PC. Especially considering it might have mod support later down the pipeline after release (or at release if we're lucky).

TBH PS5 will perform better than the 1070 at 4k by a little bit. Loading times will be faster. So for right now PS5 (I say this with a heavy heart) is the better option. Driver optimization for the 1070 will also take a little bit to arrive (based on historical behavior) so you will likely have better day one performance.

However If you have a ssd and plan on getting a new GPU down the line, I would suggest buying it on the PC.

Shitty Gamepad alone is a good enough reason not to get it for the PS5.

And where do you get your mystic informations about the PS5?

No need to be rude mate, I tried to keep my subjectivity out of it. OP is going to buy a PS5 anyways so the controller wont matter to OP.

As for performance, I extrapolated from digital foundary's performance review of XboXSX. The consoles are going to have similar performance overall and comparing performance of games on 1070 to that on XSX gives us enough info (It is still extrapolation tho so take it with a pinch of salt).

I am going going to play cyberpunk till I get my 3080, and drivers are properly optimized for PC, though I already bought it on a PC (first game I ever preordered). How I feel is inconsequential to OP and his/her decision making. I am just handing out info here.

Yeah that was rude. The PS5 gamepad is "shitty". My information is "mystic". There was no need to use those adjectives.

Keep these adjectives and statements like "You will know if I am rude" for use among friends that know you, not in conversations with strangers via text.

It is my call if I take it personally or not.

EDIT: the gamepad may be shitty to you, no need to declare it to a person posting to the community for the first time who is going to buy as PS5 anyway.

With that system my guess is you'll hover around 60fps on high settings, console is potentially double that. Nevertheless I'd still get it for PC.

The version of Cyberpunk that is optimized visually for the new consoles will come only in 2021, with no precise ETA on that. On the other hand, your PC is meh. Not even 16gb of RAM. If you plan on upgrading it somewhat soon, I'd get on PC, otherwise I'd get on PS5.

Your computer doesn’t meet recommended requirements so I’d say get the console version.

MacBook Pro 16 i9-9980HK - Radeon Pro 5500m 8GB - 32GB DDR4 - 2TB NVME

iPhone 12 Mini / Sony WH-1000XM4 / Bose Companion 20

His PC is all but meh. But i agree on that RAM part. Overlooked that. 16GB shouldbe installed.

Most of the games I play on PC, I played them first on console, gta, rdr2, fallout 3/4/NV, the elder scrolls games, etc. I've always enjoyed more playing third person games/rpgs on console because of the commodity I think lol. I'm definitely getting it first on consoles, then on a steam sale, I´ll be getting it on pc.
