Needs a bit more organizing but good thread! Should be stickied and improved upon! But then again, if they aren't reading the other threads, they probably won't read this... :doh

Thanks :)

Yeah, I wrote down some stuff I for sure wanted to include and kind of made a thread out of it.

Oh do hope I organized it in such a way people would open the spoiler and see some useful advice.

That is why some stuff is repeated.

And I understand not everyone reads those threads, but I hope at least someone will learn something from it.

Oh, you did! Sorry I wasn't clear, it is organized! :blush:  I meant that everything is sort of aligned to the far left (towards the user info bits) but should flow more evenly towards the center. The organization of the spoilers and whatnot is actually great the way it is. :)

So what I mean is something more like this;

Instead of something like this;

I'm sure some people will read it but sadly most of the people who signed up probably won't log in again unless it is to check if they were PM'd or something so it won't get the much needed attention. :(

I have also added it to my signature.

Maybe add that nonsense and personal ravings should be kept to status updates as opposed to the off topic subforum :)

Great thread. It'd be stupid not to make this thread sticky. Though, it could use some better formating, wording, etc. At least in my eyes.

Yeah, I am not that good at formatting and writing in general.

I would appreciate if this became a sticky thread as some of these tricks are not featured in the other threads mentioned

It's simple... Bold for title, underlined for notice, italic for notice text. Or something like that. I'm sure you could use some tricks as seen on the forum..
