5g UK mobile carriers politely ask people to stop burning 5G towers

So apparently the top four UK mobile network operators have joined together into releasing a statement to the UK public for them to stop destroying 5G towers as they beleive it is related to the Covid-19 pandemic which is hilarious and apparently according to the netowrk operators it has been damaging the communities in whic rely upon the network. Not only that but apparently they have been abusing the engineers to prevent them from doing network maintenance.

So not to be that guy... but have we confirmed the apparent source and UK based spread of this story? Human nature is pretty darn consistent around countries, so the fact that this is only apparently happening in UK right now is particularly worthwhile.

It's not just the UK. 5G and WiFi in general has a bunch of irrational fear around it (specifically in California) in that it can cause cancer. But studies have proven it to be bunk.

Honestly the whole "5G is transmitting COVID/COVID isn't real we're actually dying of 5G radiation" is the new "WiFi causes cancer". Both make no sense, both aren't based on any understanding of science or reality and both are dangerous to people who depend on either or to communicate.

They all believe it's a hoax to keep people inside to "they" can install more masts. They think anything pole or box shaped is a 5G "weapon spreading the corona DNA on radio waves".
