Part of me feels really bad, but another feels that he made some really dumb decisions during that. Did he really try to beat the thing out WITH A CARDBOARD BOX?! And then, when that didn't work, he just left it there for the fire to use as fuel.

Also, is it just me who can hear the Minecraft lava sound effects?

It's called panic. When there is a fire in your small apartment you don't always stop and think about the optimal way of handling the situation.

It's called panic. When there is a fire in your small apartment you don't always stop and think about the optimal way of handling the situation.

Not really tech news. Sad to see it happen though.

I understand the fact that he was panicking, but if that was me I'm sure I would try to rationalise and not hit the thing with a flammable object.

Not trying to insult him in any way, I feel pretty bad. It's so sad that something as simple as lighting a match sparked such an inferno.
