Motherboard change - keeps going into recovery?
SeanAngelo replied to SeanAngelo's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
well, my last resort is a fresh install. i have no other choice, really. do you know the most efficient and best way to back up my files from my old bootable drive? i want to take advantage since i can still access it via my docking station. -
Hello all, I recently just changed my ASUS Z370-F to a ASUS MAXIMUS X HERO, they are both on the same Z370 platform. However, whenever I try and boot into Windows with my previous boot drive, it gives me errors and goes into recovery. Can anyone help please? I don’t really want to fresh install as I have programs and games that I have to reconfigure/install and I don’t have time for that (simply put it, i’m too lazy ) afaik, changing motherboards and keeping the same platform and boot drive is fine? My SSD boot drive can be accessed fine when I plug it in to my externa

i'd go 3x front, 1x back.

your cpu will not bottleneck the 1080Ti.

EVGA 1080TI FTW3 What's wrong with my clocks!?

what exactly is your problem? -
i personally think the Meshify C is better. way better airflow and looks sleek. the h700 is an overpriced metal box with no airflow whatsoever.

Corsair HX750 Platinum or Seasonic Prime Focus Gold
SeanAngelo replied to Vrbaa's topic in Power Supplies
worth a look according to that thread, the HX is tier 1 whereas the seasonic is tier 2. -
obviously Windows 10

I personally go with WD all the time. So I would recommend WD over Seagate.
