Apple thinking of buying Tesla?

Would Apple buy Tesla? People seem to think so especially their resent interest in cars it is a possibly. This would be an interesting interest in cars  especially because of both companies general product development and design focus. So would Apple acquiring Tesla help them out or cause them to crash? Certainly Apple has a much greater capital and income allowing for such an acquisition.

 

Calacanis thinks Apple’s reputation for producing quality products makes it one of the few companies that CEO Elon Musk would even consider selling Tesla to.

 

The back and forth between the two companies and their employees has be brutal causing people to believe Apple are already making their own car to take on Tesla and an Apple employee said. 

"Apple's latest project is too exciting to pass up," the person said. "I think it will change the landscape and give Tesla a run for its money."

Perhaps meaning they are working on a car. Only time will tell.

Apple certainly are masters of Industrial design; so perhaps Tesla would be a fitting purchase.

 

However, Tesla have released all of their patents while Apple actually starts world wars over theirs lol.

With Musks 700$ billion company capital "estimate" by 2025 I'm not surprised...Elon Musk wouldn't sell it. I know that.

Tesla is heading in the right direction and Apple isn't in that direction. It would be shooting itself in the foot if they sold tesla now. This isn't like any of the other companies that he sold like paypal for example.

If that happened then the cars would become even more expensive to have the shitty apple branding on them, plus apple would take all of their technologies and patent it so that no other car company could have it

What is Apple supposed to do with their money? Frankly its horrible for the economy just to keep it. Spending it makes sense, and so do Tesla cars. I think Tesla's would very easily marketed to Apple buyers. 

 

Apple should know enough not to mess around with a company when they really have no experience with automobiles, however once they learn I think the world could see a very unique car, not everyone would like it but then there already are people who dislike Tesla's. So you can't please everyone.

They were in talks last year but nothing ended up happening now apple is bringing there own car to market.

It wouldn't happen Elon Musk's style of doing business doesn't match the misinformation and patent warring that Apple does. 

 

Elon already happens to have good connections with Google Executives too. Elon actually wants to see competition in the electric vehicle market, not stunted innovation.
