What forum theme do you use and why?

 

I use the Night Theme as its easier on my eyes and looks better IMO.

yeah lol. I'm pretty inconsistent when it comes to design tho. Right now, I'm using a skin I built to match my current keyset on my keyboard (Godspeed XDA) so it looks something like this:

I use the dark theme. Here, Skype, Discord, anywhere I can really.

 

Feel like they offer more contrast than day themes, and are easier on my eyes. My screen brightness may be at 100% all the time, but having the actual site darker makes it easier to look at for long periods of time.

f.lux perfects day theme. You can use the computer as it was intended without blinding yourself

I usually default to a dark theme whenever I can. The only system which I use a light theme on is my Windows 10 PC because I use dark accented colors and Microsoft doesn't make the taskbar color separate from the accents. Ugh. 

 

Also makes me even more pissed that Google is slowly forcing us more and more eye-searing white on Android...

Day theme hurts my eyes

The dark theme burns my eyes, so light theme for me. This is a common design flaw with a lot of so called dark themes. The text is too bright in relation to the background so after reading some text I get lines in my vision. Well done night themes don't use white+black, but light grey + dark grey to help tame the extreme contrast.

Day theme. I can't stand how inconsistent Dark/Night Themes can be across apps and webpages. The moment I go on Facebook after a session on the forums, my eyes immediately bleed from the contrast. 

 

Also why I don't use the dark theme in word. Page remains white for good reason. But that contrast hurts my eyes.

Forum night theme is dark grey+light grey(text) it's really rare for night themes to actually be black.

Night Theme. I use Dark themes everywhere possible, websites, Windows 10, Linux Distributions, etc... except macOS because the top menu bar doesn't have a shadow with the dark theme and that little detail annoys me.

Ouch.  Would think they could like setup it do the page light gray or something.  Or, at least fine tune it to be a bit easier on the eyes.  Maybe that a case where f.lux can come in to help.

Dark theme so I don't hurt my poor neet eyes. If a dark theme doesn't exist for something I use a lot, or I don't like their existing dark theme, I make my own.

I have answered to several of these threads already, always dark theme on every thing that supports it natively and when it doesn't like @EPENEX mentioned I'll make my own.
