  1. This is going to be my Christmas present. Please leave your recommendations. i5 4670K R9 270X 4GB
  2. Huge mark up on the parts. Not worth it.
  3. If you are able to get it RMA'd, do so. Who knows how bad it can get?
  4. You can't change Turbo Boost. That's set by Intel. Overclocking is making the CPU clock higher than Turbo speeds given that you have the cooler to dissipate the heat, silicon lottery and enough voltage.
  5. Sell the i7, ram and the board, and get an 8700K. Pair with a good cooler and it'll smash through games.
  6. Getting rid of the cooler, adding an SSD and expanding the HDD storage could be the better option.
  7. Have a read through this. https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/SocketAM4/ROG_STRIX_B450_F_GAMING/Memory-QVL-For-AMD-Ryzen-2000-Series-Processors.pdf?_ga=2.257552011.1047402529.1544062009-1644706423.1544062009
  8. There is no way that will dissipate 320 watts.
  9. I wouldn't bother. It's a very capable chip. Will be a few percent slower than newer CPU's in gaming, but it's still a beast.
  10. 720P. Third gen i5 quad core, you won't get much.
  11. If you're a person that wants smart gadgets, sure.
