  1. It matters especially in RTX30 laptops. Wait for Legion 2021?
  2. 1 garbage with 3 names.

The worst gaming laptop you can buy. No joke. It belongs to trash.

MSI have been screwing up a lot lately although Asus is screwing up a lot as well.

Taiwanese laptops now like to cut cost without even hiding...

  3. Talked about the importance of 4BG (bank group) RAM vs 2BG RAM in RTX30 gaming laptops back in January. Now only people start to discuss about it.

Guess I can predict the future lol.

Arent bank sizes of the same type of memory always the same?

for laptop 8GB stick, 4BG is become rarer, most are using 2BG now

      for 16GB stick, 100% 4BG

  4. Quick survey: RTX3060/70/80 gaming laptop, QHD 165Hz or FHD 240Hz?

hmm thought all CPUs will bottleneck in FHD?

depends on the game, i suppose

even a 5 year old CPU can run the game i play at 2000fps

but yea i guess if you're going FHD, a 3070M or even 3060M might make more sense

QHD 165 Hz. 165 Hz is already pretty high, most people would appreciate the resolution bump to QHD.

Those GPUs aren’t good for QHD but I  guess it’s better for productivity and creative workflows.

  5. If you ask me what is my favourite laptop out of all laptops I've tested, it will be the Tongfang QC71 aka Eluktronics Mag-15 (and many other resellers). Under 2kg with >90Wh battery, paired with a full 115W TGP GPU inside a 20mm thick magnesium alloy chassis, with an affordable price tag (among all thin and lights), it's the most impressive laptop I've come with so far. Hopefully there will be a refresh (probably 11th gen TGL-H) coming soon, also hope Tongfang will sort out their quality issues and change the mech kb to a more traditional membrane kb (which is decent enough).

(Level51 Vapor 15 Pro I tested back in Jan 2020)

  6. TGL-H is about 5% faster in general, however efficiency doesn't improve from 10th gen Personally would still pick Ryzen 5000 as efficiency is king in laptops, unless you need the features in TGL-H like AVX512
  7. is this an urgent purchase or you can wait longer?
  8. When is summer in where u live lol. Anyway u can give me a month
  9. Vega 7 iGPU would never reach such high graphics score (2000+)
