Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

I'd go 5x8, the difference in weight won't hurt the vehicle any, and worst case scenario you have another foot to fit crap in.

still humming and hoing if that extra cost and extra weight is worth it lol you probably are right, 50lbs is probably nothing in the grander scale of things but hmmm

I think a 5x8 might look a bit weird on a sedan lol

I need a parts car for my 2016 Mustang

Only need the rear end, both qrter panels crushed along with inner tub and skin. Would be cheaper to purchase whole car instead of individual parts from ford or local suppliers, junkyards do not have anything in stock right now for what I need.

Would like for it to be near the east coast, closer the TN the better for me.

Damn dude :| don't know about that, but good luck with the rebuild. Look up for cars on Copart or Autotempest.

Dw haha, it's not as bad as it looks lol. Probably the most intimidating bit would be sectioning in a new inner tub. If only I still had pics of the focus I rebuilt a couple years ago lol.

It’s sad, too, because the 2011-2014 Sonatas are honestly one of the best looking sedans of its era, especially when the Camry looked like bleh and the Accord has transmission failures up the ass.

No love for the Taurus? Or focus, I think an a4 or 335i look pretty good too. Only thing about hyundia is their build quality and resale value, barely see any hyundias on the road anymore, a couple years ago they were popping everywhere.  Maybe its regional? dunno

Taurus looked alright but it looked too blobby to me, honestly.

Note: this comes from someone who likes the late 90s Tauruses.

Gotta remember a huge number of us arent american ;) the Taurus doesn't exist outside the US really.

Personally my daily driver is a Nissan V36 which is the JDM equivelant of an Infiniti G37. Plenty of power and  theyre one of my personal favorite looking affordable sedans.

I havent seen a hyundai in ages, other than the volestor's because hot hatches are so damned popular here.

NA and European focus are different cars. First gen NA focus is an ugly thing in my opinion, 2nd gen and up is good. Euro focus' always look good.

So after dominating autocross in the US, SCCA moved the Tesla Model 3 up from one of the middle classes (BS) to the top class (SS).

will be a lot harder to win autoX in it now. Some people are mad about it.

But one thing I’m thinking is they may be scared of the OTA updates and such.. what if Elon were to drop an update that made the car .2 seconds faster right before the national championship? It kinda poses a problem. The car almost needs a never changing “competition” mode
