Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

Might check out the k1speed indoor karting place in Houston Saturday.

not sure yet but maybe.

anyone ever been to one?

99% of kart tracks are fun, I've heard good things about K1. None near me or else I would have tried one out.

God no. 100-110F temps were brutal. I've always hated summer in my city bc you really can't do shit about it and my ac always seems to break before the season starts. i've always prefered cold bc i have the clothing for it and i look more fashionable in cold weather clothing lol

Well, 100-110F is not bad with low humidity for me, now with high humidity it is no fun.

Then again, I walk around in jeans in the Alabama Summers.  So, my heat tolerance is definitely higher than most.  Probably the reason why the weather in Turkey and Iraq hardly bothered me when I was over there.  Kept hearing everyone complain about the heat in Turkey.  Me, I am like, darn this is like Spring weather back home.  :P

At least this year the temperatures are getting low for a Winter down here.  Actually had to turn the gas heater on for more than a week this time.

Looks similar to weather I am dealing with down here in South Alabama, if those are temperatures are in C.  Since, I see the wind speed stated in km/h.

The weather for me for the next few days.

Apparently you could get a 1st gen Mitsubishi Eclipse with factory gull wing doors...

I mean I really don’t care but I didn’t know that until Neil told me today lol.

I still think this car would of looked so much better if they wouldn’t of put the stupid built in headlights in addition to the pop-ups. Needs more pop-ups only

Tis just another day for the free folk north of the wall

-22C today with which was enough to freeze 1/3 of our older street car fleet, where cars normally weigh 23 tonnes (50,000 lb).

Parts for that mofo aren't cheap... And now, I'm kind of scared of getting an E36 because BMW maintenance is what it is money wise... idk

Want something LPG converted so gas prices are much cheaper... Thing is, not many cars I like can be found already converted and for a decent price. :|

My best bet would be a B16A Civic or something like that, because I can have decent power on higher RPMs and a decent economical engine on the lower end of the RPM range. ^_^

LPG is almost nonexistent here in my area. There's only 1 LPG station in my city, and it's only 15 cents less per gallon than regular unleaded. not worth it. Hydrogen stations seem to be more popular in the area, but mostly packed in the bay area. kinda typical since theyre environment conscious there.

The best I can get for the budget I "have" are (both LPG fed) a Peugeot 206 GTI 2.0 (130ish hp), a Ford Puma 1.7 (125hp) , a Civic (115hp 1.5) and a Rover 200vi (1.8 145hp) :|

http://www.zeperfs.com/en/match284-167-3921-332.htm

But, I'll still have to wait a few months before I even get myself a car, so, the market shifts and all that shit, can't quite rely on the things that are up for sale at this moment.
