I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

Ugh, I dislike temps below 35F as is.

The one time I saw snow in California is the last time I want to see snow.  Way to cold for my taste.

100F+ on the other hand.  Mmmm, nice Summer weather that be.  :D  Of course, when humidity levels stay low (high humidity sucks...).

I have become way to use to having inside temps at 80F/26.66C.

ok that's taking it a little too far for me... our house stays at 70F and 68F at night lol

Well, no central A/C, only a window A/C so I grown use to having a tolerance to higher temperatures.

I'm usually fine from 65-80F range.

Early ecoboost mustangs were Frankenstein'd together from parts bins to meet deadlines and demands. Remember how long the wait was for the Focus RS? Being imported or not, the engine can be made anywhere. They were likely funneling in parts such as seals and gaskets from everywhere they could to meet demands.

i guess my question now is... why is the ecoboost mustang headgasket inferior to the one on the focus RS + it's the same engine with a slightly smaller turbo... why aren't the mustang's blowing head-gaskets a lot??

Not the same head if I remember right. The mustangs have gone through 5 block revisions as well iirc... been a while since I read up on it.

why does ford seem to use early models as test dummies and slowly revise things as time goes on? until the next generation car comes anyway... then it restarts again -_-

I don't think so. Struggling to put thoughts into words, but this is what happens when a big company makes a lot of cars aimed at enthusiasts.

i have no idea why but i want to experience temps that low (just once and for a short time)

I'm way too curious... i know it's miserable. But I've never seen anything colder than 25F.. and that was on top of pikes peak last year in late May when me and a friend made a trip out to Colorado. (which i totally need to do again.. with more money next time lol)

the cold didn't feel as bad in Colorado though. idk if it's the humidity here or what but man it gets to you. Feel like you're freezing to death within minutes when it's anything less than 35 lol

It's actually not too bad if you have the clothes for it. -35/40 is about where it starts to get kinda miserable though, even with face gear.

at least for the cold you can layer up. the heat you can't do squat about. you just die.

I've got some nice cold weather gear. In NYC it was below freezing IIRC during the parade. I was wearing two pares of jeans and my cold weather jacket and I felt like I was still inside the hotel with the heat on.

is -27c right now w/ -37 windchill and I was just in jeans, a sweater and a jacket. Not that bad yet! :P
