Car Enthusiast Club [Now Motorcycle friendly!] - First thread to 150k! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

Zonda barchetta, two more are set to be made and will end up taking the last vins for new zondas (doesn't mean they will be produced last though). Oh and @chaozbandit I'm getting the 1/18 scale model when it's out.

I'm 99% sure the vins are ending with #136 for two main reasons. They only have so many m120 engines left and it's getting harder and harder to register in the eu (some of the new ones even had to be registered in Andorra).

But I would like to point out that they may never stop updating older Zondas to the 760 spec and two or three older vins will be remade soon.

I don't know about all of that but I feel like they've been saying every Zonda that has come out is going to be the most special, last Zonda.

what phone?

from what I read, most the screens you get online unless from a donor iphone are very poor quality. Plus there was no force touch replacement screens at the time... so I just spent the 130 dollars.

idk where ifixit gets their screens but everytime i've seen one of their screens it always seemed quite nice

i just sold my iphone with the broken home button for $165..

@warmmilk @vetali I never expected this (it's been fine every single time before, and the miata supposedly has baffling to guard against this)

but we actually had problems with fuel starvation today and had to go put more gas in the car in the middle of the event...

We had a reaaaaaalllllllly long sweeping left hander (and the fuel pump is on the left side of the tank) and it would just slowly drag all the fuel away from the pump and make the car just fall on it's face right when you were about to exit the turn.

so don't think ill go on less than 1/2 a tank again... Usually do a 1/4 and it's perfectly fine but now that I know that can happen....

What did it feel like when it was fuel starved? Like it was gasping or something?

Yeah nearly half of the One Offs are old chassis.  Two of them have been rebuilt more than once into different cars.

@iDeFecZx is correct just beat me to the punch. I can't really explain how they are still being registered (don't really know much of Europe's emissions regulations) , but I would imagine that they use the emissions testing from the Zonda Cinque or even F.

It just stops for a second... Your on the gas and nothing is happening... Then it would suddenly come back and be fine the rest of the way

Cammy passed her inspection with flying colors. (Well i'll need to change out the red side marker lights. But other than that she's good)

No new rust. Exact same emissions values and the brakes bite as well as ever.

BUT

Noticed that some shithead has stolen my chevy badge.. Asshole.
