Yeah but the rest of the car is in real good shape. So it wouldn't be too much to do to get it close to near new

Its a bit wet around the trans as well. But that should just be a seal or something. Damn marine life..

I'd like to make it to a track as well. Might save that for when i've got a V8 though. Don't want to be too much of a road block.

 

At the very least they didn't gouge the shit out of the paint like they did on my friends vintage merc..

I'd say go when you're completely stock, and go every time you do a major mod. I wish I would've gone when I was fully stock. Could always throw my stock ecu back in, would be close to stock numbers. TD04 will throw it off only slightly. I mean everyone tracks Miatas. Doesn't get much slower in a straight line for a track car (stock that is) 

 

I need to get my car detailed at some point and have the scratches taken care of. Happens to any dark car that's almost 18 years old
