Source 2: http://www.pcgamer.com/oculus-founder-rift-will-come-to-mac-if-apple-ever-release

  • Shacknews asked Palmer Luckey if the Rift will come to other platforms, like the Mac

    • Luckey responded “That is up to Apple, if they ever release a good computer, we will do it”

  • Luckey quickly clarified he was referring to Apple’s lack of high-end GPU support

    • “You can buy a $6000 Mac Pro with a top-of-the-line AMD FirePro D700, and it still doesn’t match our recommended specs” he added

    • “So if they prioritize higher-end GPUs, like they used to for awhile back in the day, we’d love to support Mac. But right now, there’s just not a single machine out there that supports it.”

Oculus Recommended Specs:

  • Nvidia GTX 970/AMD 290 equivalent or greater

  • Intel i5-4590 or greater

  • 8GB+ RAM

  • Compatible HDMI 1.3 video output

  • 2x USB 3.0 ports

Because it consists almost entirely of "he said she said", which Linus said he doesn't want to bring up on the WAN show. The developer denied sabotaging the game, and the publisher (in conjunction with the person working to fix it) said the same thing; that the game was not sabotaged.

Some internet logic...

HTC is Taiwanese,

HTC and Valve are partners,

Dennis is Taiwanese,

Dennis was holding a crowbar,

DENNIS HAS INSIDER INFO ON HALF LIFE 3!!!!

Half Life 3 confirmed and it has Zombie Prawns in it.

Either that or Dennis is actually Gman :D

Linus you need Epoxy based paint for your video card, the most common commercially available stuff are firearm finishes.

I would have just use a permanent marker for the GFX card. Would have looked good and no mess.

Also Dennis.

Wouldn't model paint work for the wording on the 980 ti? I would have just thought a very small brush and model paint would let you get that filled without ruining it and probably been easier than the syringe.

Gotta be honest, I love Dennis to pieces because he is just so silly but on the WAN Show, nah thank you. When I'm digesting my weekly hit of tech news I'd prefer someone who actually knows something about the topic at hand rather than someone dressed with a shrimp around his neck.

Just my opinion though.

I don't mean it to be like that all the time. Only a single show, or maybe even the first ten minutes of an episode. Just for them lulz.

If your most notable "criticism" is that you made Teflon possible or you effectively killed people in war, you're grasping at straws.
