7800X3D 🙂 it has increased cache that MSFS 2020 really likes.

+ 1  on the x3D.

 

I saw one benchmark that compared to the chip I just bought for my new build (Intel 14700) and FS had about a 20 FPS gain on the AMD. As I hadn't built my computer yet I seriously considered returning my mobo and CPU and pivot towards one of the x3D chips.

 

If I were only using my rig for FS I'd most certainly do it but I'll be doing other stuff and the vibe I got was that the Intel I got will be a better all-around performer.
