Asus Strix 750 Ti 4GB

Asus has announced a 4GB version of their Strix 750 Ti card.
 

The latest card is identical to the 2GB version of the GeForce GTX 750 Ti Strix, as it features clock speeds of 1124MHz core, 1202MHz GPU Boost, and 5.40GHz effective memory, but offers gamers double the memory.
 
Since the card is basically the same as the previously released version of the ASUS GeForce GTX 750 Ti Strix, the 4GB model still offers 640 CUDA cores based on the Maxwell architecture as well as a 128-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface.

Pretty interesting stuff, but.. Weird too..

I thought the 128 bit memory bus was not enough for 4GB?

Doubt there will be much gaming difference between this card and the 2GB version.

 

Nothing is known about pricing and availability yet.

Dafuq ??? I don't think that clock speed and bit bus will be enough for 4GB.

Not really sure who this cards aimed at I never really understood who the regular 750ti was ever aimed at little own this version.

I just don't get who would buy this since I know for a fact the price will be much higher than the 2GB version. At that point other, stronger options are available.

4GB on that card with that bus is pretty stupid imo. If you're using that much VRAM you need a more powerful GPU anyway.
