I don't know, I guess I'm starting to really have a thing for movies and what not, and the entertainment scene in general. Other than that as you might guess I have a love for technology and the things that relate to it in general.

So my friend started having this happen to him in games (moreso in 3D games) and occasionally blue/purple flickering. It appears to be coming off of other players/chickens (don't know if that means anything). He's also had missing letters and just general flickering whilst browsing Windows. Originally I thought it would be linked to software because it wouldn't artfiact in the bios but after the problem recurring in my PC as well I dunno. I put it in my PC to see if it does it there and it did so the problem is definitely linked to the GPU, I'm quite confident we'll pr

Activision-Blizzard buys MLG (Major League Gaming)

Didn't this already happen ages ago? -
it's got 4.5 stars so I can't see why not.

Obviously the EVGA G2 would be best case scenario, as a cheaper alternative I'd probably go for this: http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperNOVA-Modular-Warranty-110-B1-0750-VR/dp/B00K85X23O/ref=sr_1_4?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1451629589&sr=1-4&keywords=750+watt+power+supply

I've had good experiences with Coolermaster PSU's, so I can safely recommend their GM series, there is a 650 and a 750 watt series but I'd go for the 750 just because it's the price difference is often marginal, the higher end series, Vanguard is also pretty good (the one that I have): it's gold rated and semi modular. For an alternate I know that the EVGA G2 series is very good as well (probably better than the Coolermasters)

I wouldn't recommend it, but if you did decide to, I'd maybe underclock the GPU maybe a little just to be safe.

650w PSU enough to overclock an FX-8320?
soaringchicken replied to EarthwormJoe's topic in Power Supplies
I think you should be fine, 650w will be plenty. -
Ohh I sort of glossed over the PSU part, you'd probably want 650+ watts for a 980ti.
-
idk really I think it comes down to personal preference, lots of people like different things: I mean some people play with low sensitivity, some play with high, some like weighted mice, etc. My best recommendation is to maybe just go into a store and try all the different mice, see which one fits best.
-
Yeah you'll be quite fine for now.

Personally I'd be going with an Intel CPU as the AMD upgrade path is pretty crap, especially since that chipset is pretty much dead. As for the PSU, I'm confident It'd work, but I'd really look to upgrade it anyway, as the VS series is pretty low end and 550watts is bare minimum imo.
